Hotel Kavery

I had a pleasant experience of staying one night at Hotel Kavery in Rajkot. The rooms were nice and clean with good ambiance. The best thing about the hotel was its service. The staff was friendly and courteous. I reached hotel quite late and was starving. They didn't complain even once for serving me dinner 5 min before the closing of kitchen. The location of the hotel was quite peaceful. Highly recommended in Rajkot.

very efficent staff and service....clean.....breakfast was served in the room..stuffed parathas and idlis...excellent!!!.very centrally located within walking distance to the market. ...it is not far from the airport...well recommended for a short stay

Being near Kanak Road and in a busy part of Rajkot 
it is ideal for people who love shopping in Rajkot and also some good places to eat too. It isn't far from Yagnik Road a short Riksha ride and also Dharmendra road. It was fab for me to experience this part and being from UK this hotel was brilliant in providing good service, it isn't 5 star but brilliant for what I was charged. Breakfast being served in rooms and not an area was odd, but was ok. 

I would give it 4 out of 5 if you do not want to spend much at all, and aren't going to be in the hotel much, they did have a comfortable bed and lots of space if like me you had a lot of luggage. If you have a rate which is set prior to going, make sure you show them at the front counter as they may charge for the daily one, and then rectify it.

GOOD HOTEL FOR SHOPPING IN RAJKOT

Hotel was great in old days but with change of ownership & management plus years of neglect, hotel was in a state of ruins! I booked a room through Booking.com, confirmed booking but trying to contact hotel to assure airport pickup was impossible! All contacts from Booking.com failed. Arrived on the day, but NO AIRPORT PICKUP ! Tried to call but NO RESPONSE! Took taxi to the hotel & found the hotel CLOSED FOR RENOVATION! ALL PLEASE  BEWARE! Hotel is still not open. I was in Rajkot last week !!! KAVERY HOTEL MANAGEMENT SHOULD INFORM ALL, INCLUDING YOU, THAT HOTEL IS NOT TAKING BOOKINGS! SHOULD PUT IT ON THEIR HOTEL WEBSITE THIS NOTICE! NOT TOO MUCH TO ASK ????  

Terrible ! 

We checked into Kaveri Rajkot recently. looking at website/ photos you think this is fine, but tell you what they are old!. Std of rooms is terrible, we saw ants/mosquito wandering around , rooms dusty after seeing a few. and to top that hardly had a shower! as shower was not working dripping., water not hot either. These people had demaned upfront payment also for days booked which is not normal practice we find, deposit or 1 night stay suffice.

we complained to general manager URMI Mehta. The GM assured us we can shower in another room next day as had 7am start for a wedding. next day, next room was even worse, and top that shower knobs broken so again hardly a shower. a total shambles as these people do not maintain there and should check rooms/bathroom before allocating to customers for local people standard may be fine 1* but to charge a rate and not provide professional service is bad.

we found nearby hotel Jayson, same rates and 4* quality and service in any room you choose and GM should learn something from hotel management of this type, how to treat customers and give service and ensure rooms are clean free of dust. mosquito etc and bathrooms work. We try seek refund of upfront booking payments and were just ignored with no call/ apology either from GM. and who then behave rudely

problem is management there do not care about maintenance and Kaveri in Rajkot has now got a bad name already so be aware you will be disappointed. Recommend value for money Jayson give you real quality.
