I have been cycling the coast of India from Kolkata to Mumbai and have stayed in numerous lodges, residencies. guesthouse and resorts of all standards.Directed here to Colonel's by locals, it turned out to be one of my more memorable stays. The room was bright and airy, with all amenities and almost on the beach and yet private. The price was very reasonable for the accommodation. There was a relaxed ambience  about the whole place. The beach was great with a gentle mix of locals and guests alike. Sunset from my balcony was a treat. As was breakfast with great company the next morning. I rode away, feeling very relaxed and invigorated after my stay at Colonel's Beach Villas.

I stayed in the 'tent' close to the water's edge. The 'tent' was more comfortable than most homestays I experienced during my 5 week trip around Kerala for sure!
Inside was a super comfy double bed, with an outdoor 'under the stars' shower together with a private beach front veranda. I enjoyed the huge red sun set from that veranda, as well as watching the fishermen bring in their morning catch.  
Even though it was just a short ride away from Alleppey where I then went for my backwaters boat trip, I enjoyed the peace and solitude of taking time away from mainline tourism. 
Staying at Colonel's was one of the highlights of my trip!

Excellent place right on the beach. Very courteous staff. The surroundings transport you to a European fishing village. The church nearby is a must visit, the cleanliness of the bylanes is commendable. Localites are very friendly if you know the local language

Amazing villa located right on the beach in Alleppey. I bet its the best location to enjoy the idyllic beach there at Alleppey. Those who want to spend some leisurely time in the lap of nature...Colonels Beach Villa is the answer.

Clean beach, Fisherman Boats, Coconut trees creates a great ambiance.
There are 7 cottages with excellent views of the Arabian Sea.
We stayed in a Villa with a wonderful balcony overlooking the sea. The duplex style villa has a seperate dinning space, an AC bedroom and a balcony. Rooms are clean and tiolet are same too. Best part is the balcony.
Staff is also extremely helpful. 

Stroll around the beach, visit a very nice looking heritage church and walk around the fishermans villages nearby. Backwaters and houseboats are also close to this property.

And for your travel needs and car for tours, ask them for Mr. Sebastian.

So in your visit to Alleppey, do visit and enjoy your stay at Colonels Beach Villa.

It was nice stay for me. The main attraction is view of the room. Rooms was spacious and neat and clean. Food is good. Staff behavior was nice. Ayurveda treatment is very interesting. We will come back in future

The location which is sited is very near to the beach..People who required peace of mind for one or two day  must have to visit this place. the owner and staffs were very decent and ready to help at any level.

Excellent stay at beachfront in superb Location in fisherman village with contact to the locals, great veranda with 24 hour seaview and great coloured sunset, beach almost nobody so a bit Robinson feeling inclusive, good Indian local food and service, thank you for the time we stayed here

What a perfect amalgamation of stunning location , superb hospitality, perfect ambience , chill hideout and delicious fooding scenes. I and my friend went there for a two day weekend trip to Colonel's beach villa. As it was my first time to Kerala but my friend assured me about the experience at this place . And bang on ! What a stunner this place was . You have the perfect private beach  privacy to yourself . There is no disturbance as you can chill at this peaceful heaven for as many number of days as you want . We were provide with this secluded beach villa which had a separate and a cut off entrance from the main property . Sitting at the patio and chilling while watching the sunSet is the main usp of this place . Overall I would definitely recommend this place to any one who wants a perfect seclusion From the touristic hustle bustle of Alleppey town . Head there and you will not regret it .

Excellent Beach Villa

Perfect beach hideout in Alleppey

Set picturesquely right on the beach, the villa ticks all the right notes for a great vacation experience. The villa is big enough to comfortably accommodate a family. The balcony is the best place to idle your time, with its great view of the horizon & sunsets and the continuous cool breeze flowing even in March. 

The hosts and staff extend a very warm reception and are very prompt in catering to your requirements. The food is great as well. 

Great place to stay when in Alleppey. Thanks for everything. 



Awesome stay

The villa stays true to its promise. The owner provided us with multiple room options which even 5 stars don't give. Our cottage had a small sitting area at a height which gave us panoramic view of the sea 24*7. We could hear the sound of the waves day and night in our bedroom which is in a sense mental therapy. The place is perfect if you are looking for some personal time away from the city life. Food was amazing too (Veg and non vegetarian both). Much worth the money and time.
The best stayover one can get in Alleppey.

Great Experience, Perfect Stay...

The place is amazing. It was a great pleasure to be there for the ayurvedic treatment that I hightly recommend. The yoga's sessions with Anil as a teacher is a must. He is particularly attentive and he has an excellent body knowledges to make you improve.

Good typical place to combine ayurvedic treatments, yoga and visit.

We booked this very late and they were very accommodating and let 3 of us stay in one room and cooked us a late supper which was good and fantastic value. The property is basic but the location great, right behind the beach. The staff were all very helpful and we enjoyed our one night there.
