The room was very very clean, the staff eas very warm and kind, but also the room view was amazing.
The breakfast was a typical European breakfast, with fresh bread, cheese ham, juice/coffee/tea, egg etc. 
The beach was 30 seconds far, on foot. 
 I tottaly recommend it! 

Good choice! 

This is indeed a “value for money choice FAMILY choice” for those who:

A. want a hotel 
1. very close to the sea (the beach is in front - 1’ walk), 
2. clean (every day cleaning service)
3. with fabulous sea view and balcony  (esp. the ones on the top floor)
4. with seaside suitable for children to play (very sallow)
5. cheap (40 euros per night for a 2 beds room)
6. where politeness and willingness to offer are the staff and owners trademark 

B. do not want something luxurious but they will be happy with the “standard accommodation and breakfast”…! (breakfast is absolutely basic but of a very good quality)

The rooms are small but adequate for 2-3 persons and the facilities are typically 2 stars level (basic - old stylish)
The staff was GREAT and the owner always there to help!!!
In general, this was a true VALUE FOR MONEY choice for FAMILY VACATION!
PS. Agia Marina is not the best place to stay regarding crowd and calmness , the beach is not among the best of the island but it is a place very close to the main tourist sights of Aegina Island (Afaia Temple and Agios Nektarios monastery , both 5’ drive)

Value for money choice with EXCELLENT HOSPITALITY!

This hotel is definitely one to choose if you are staying in Ag. Marina. The people of the hotel are polite, they address any issues you might have and help you out if you want info or something. Very hospitable place to stay for vacation.

The breakfast is great, big enough to satisfy your appetite until lunch. The rooms are clear, consumables replaced if needed when the lady that cleans the room everyday comes around. She usually does the house keeping when you are not in the room. I had no concern about whether my personal items were safe or not. Honesty prevaild here it seems, at least from my perspective. 

Air-con is more that sufficient to keep the room cold even, let alone cool. Opening up the windows brings in a refreshing breeze as well. But it also btings in mosquitos as well, so keep that in mind. They do provide that pluggable heater for mosquito tablets though, which does its job I suppose. Hot water available. There are rooms with a sea view and it is awesome. The beach is literaly  right beneth the hotel. And it is a good one. 

Prices were reasonable, the people polite, the food good, quiteness abundable, realxed atmosphere. If you wanna party this may not be the place for you.

Warm welcome, good breakfast and amazing view

You'll be hard pushed to find a better welcome and service despite Greeks reputation for these qualities. I've stayed in many hotels in Agia Marina, now this is my go to choice.
Basics covered, clean, comfortable, convenient location, lovely breakfast, but it's the owners who make it.

Very nice location, the beach is beautiful and just behind the hotel. The owners of the hotel are amazing people, they went out of their way to accommodate us. I highly recommend this hotel.  We loved their home made red wine :)

A very beautiful place. Amazing hosts.Very clean. Wonderful view, super close to the beach. I will for sure come back and recommend to everyone.

If you are looking for a place where you feel home then look no where else 
I will not say staff are nice bla bla as it’s a family owned business 
Owner will welcome you with a warm smile at anytime your getting in or out of the hotel 
They would offer free drinks and always felt we are looked after 
It’s with deep regret our one week vacation is over 
God willing our next vacation will be Greece and will be at Sandy beach

We just LOVED our sty

Absolute lack of professionalism, staff was not helpful at all. Our room wasn't ready in time and we had to wait for two hours. One more thing that I find unacceptable: The hotel's sewage pipes result in the beach littering it.

Not worthy

5 of us stayed at Sandy Beach Hotel, this fantastic friendly family owned a hotel is right on the beach, fair prices, Including breakfast, went out of their way to accommodate us, we didn’t want to leave.   Excellent location on the beach with restaurants on the beach. Definitely going back again! Love sandy beach hotel!

Excellent location

These are rooms for people on a very tight budget. The beach is amazing clean, however there is about a 5 minute walk to get to the cleaner part of the beach. The side of the beach where this hotel is located is a passageway which ppl use to get across the beach, although you can stay near your hotel,  you must bring your own umbrella and chairs.
These are small rooms, with no toiletries, you must bring your own shampoo, but they do provide you with a sample size soap, use it sparingly. The view from the room, is across the Aegean, and facing another  little hotel.
You get daily breakfast included in the price of your room, depending on what size room you take, your breakfast meal consists of one boiled egg, slices of delicious cheese, jams in packets which are tasty and powdered orange juice, hot coffee served every morning. This is not a buffet style breakfast.
These rooms are for someone on a very tight budget, and who enjoys Spartan living. The rooms are VERY clean.

The management consists of the mom, who is very business savvy, and the son, who is quite surly, but i suppose being at the front desk during peak tourist season can make a person very irritable.

If you are on a tight budget then this is the place for you. 

The beach was amazing, crystal clear waters, and very serene.
Don't forget to visit Aigina town, they sell amazing pistachios!
