We were invited to an event in September at the beginning of the year, and in April we booked a double room at the New Country Hotel. Finally, we were in front of a closed hotel. The mail piled up at the entrance and the impression spread that this hotel was closed for some time. This closure was confirmed by another hotel where we stayed.

We booked this hotel because it's near Romrod Castle - of course because of a wedding. The hotel looks completely deserted from the outside (the balcony doors are all open for ventilation). Inside everything was dark. We wanted to check in then... no one was there, even after 5 minutes. No one was there, even calling was not successful. This also explains why it took me three days to reach someone by phone to book a room. We then spontaneously looked for another hotel - cheaper and much better. We would have also refused to sleep with reception staff only one night there. The worst hotel we were in now... and we were not in the room until many times!!!!! PS: It seems to really belong to a Chinese investor. It all seems to have come down this road, it's steep and charming and it's better to spend a night in a hotel with a nice hotel.

The reception is very friendly the price for everything is just shameless. At night you are locked in the hotel we didn't come out. The pool is not usable. The rooms are dirty. The view was not the runner either.

Bad, bad, new country hotel Vogelsberg. I've never been to a worse hotel before. The only positive thing to mention is that the receptionist was very friendly and helpful. I'd rather not lose a word about the rooms and facilities of the hotel. Every youth hostel is more luxurious and beautiful.

Disaster

This hotel is a former rehab clinic that fell victim to the health care reform many years ago and has since gone through a changing history of several bankruptcies as a hotel. Now this operation is in the hands of a Chinese investment group, who must visibly still invest a very, very large amount of money in this rotten building to at least bring it to the lowest standards. The rooms are soft, smelly and old furnished. The bathroom is narrow, equipped with old fittings, and the shower makes an extremely unhygienic impression with its plastic curtain. So this hotel never sees me again.
