Ferienhof Adambauer

This was a quaint place to stay on our trip to Germany this past week. Compared to European standards, this place was up to par, but you should be prepared for a couple of differences if you are from the United States. 1. There are cats everywhere. It is a farm community and the cats are not allowed in the hotel itself, but they are on the land. This was not a problem for us because I love cats and they did not disturb us in any way. In fact, it made it feel a bit more local to me that it was a true farm instead of something less authentic. 2. There is not a central air unit. While we were there, the weather was nearly perfect, but really warm. One night we tried to turn the air down, but it was not there. We opened two sets of windows in the apartment unit, and that was helpful. It cooled things down quite a bit, but be prepared for that. That is just the way it is in the community and in Europe in general, so this was something that can be expected in many different places. 3. This is someone's home. It is a beautiful place to stay and if you are looking for somewhere to see what it is really like to live in Bavaria, this is a place to do it. They have a full kitchen, a functioning bathroom, and two bedrooms. I would recommend that not more than 4 adults stay in each apartment unit.
