This place has some really good things: the hospitality of the owner and his family. The breakfast and the location also both good.
But there were also some things that just weren’t good. It wasn’t clean. Bathroom and especially the toilet were just dirty and weren’t cleaned during the 2 days we were there. Also it was very hot in the room and the fan was broken, so we had to open our window a little to get some fresh air. This resulted in druk people climbing into our room via the window at 2 in the night. This scared us to death! Slept only little after this event. Horrible experience! 

Good and bad things 

The house is located in a stunning location on the mountain ridge of Gorgosali Street, next to the Georgian Victory Temple. We were tired after the road, and Vano (the owner) immediately sat down at the table, fed us home food and served us his wine. We lived in a room with his bathroom and a terrace exit, from where we could see the picturesque hills, the old fortress wall and the Alazan valley.

Warm and warm

It's a simple home guest. You can't expect superconditions and huge comfort. If you're not demanding on services, but you're welcome and warm - it's important to you here! Vano is the host of the house, a very warm and welcoming person, who welcomed us with both home wine and varnish! During the whole trip - it was really valuable, because for 2 weeks in Georgia we never had a warm Georgian meal.) And only in this house did we feel that we came to an old good friend's house again! The price is not high, for this you will get minimal comfort conditions, but still here - nice and cozy.

For a non-demanding tourist (the warmth of the owners overshadows the lack of amenities or service)

When we got to the room, it was obvious that there was no switch on the upper panel and keys. The window was the size of a suitcase and it was dirty and noisy at the foot of the passers-by. The door went to the owner's kitchen, where they walked all the time, because the glass door was all over the place, there was no soundproofing. The only thing you could find in the room was a glass door with a tight shutter.

the community

I'm sorry to write this review because the owners were very sweet and welcoming. However, this does not make up for rock solid plywood beds, lack of windows in the rooms, and cramped, junky threadbare decor. There was kind of a public area with a nice view of the mountains, but I found most places have such a view. I had reserved this room because I had seen good reviews for it, but I believe they must have been backpackers with extremely limited funds. This place is not okay for a cozy romantic evening. It is difficult to find, and not worth the rock bottom prices. You could find another place for twice as much, and I recommend you just grit your teeth and pay it. We could not even stay the night in this guesthouse.

Possibly the cheapest dump in town, will work if desperate

There is a nice spacious room, a large lodge in the house, where it is nice to eat and socialize. Here, the hospitable hosts prepared a great shashlik for us in the fireplace in the evening (I highly recommend asking for this one!). There is Wi-Fi, there is also a kitchen where you can cook yourself if you want. The only thing is that in the morning the neighbouring hens cooked so desperately that it was difficult to sleep.
