Access can be difficult to find when you are unfamiliar but look carefully, a Tori (= entrance to a temple) will welcome you to make it easy to enter. A welcoming parking lot with a Japanese zen atmosphere, up to the access to the rooms... The room reserved for us (couple) is Hakkone blue atmosphere with beautiful furniture, everything is very clean and welcoming! The shower is really very well laid out and the exterior... which will remain my favorite corner with the little Onsen (jacuzzi). Just a paradise corner on the theme of Japan!

A quiet place, a warm welcome, we had a great weekend, I recommend it to anyone looking for a romantic or quiet place.

As a family with large children, we wanted an original place and rest near Aix-en-Provence to spend a friendly we between us in order to disconnect. Consulting AirBNB we found on Ventabren the Sunrise Baths. Everything was perfect: welcome, zen atmosphere, high quality services, permanent Japanese hot bath (me in the evening drinking champagne), clean at the top, atypical, very classy and original (the bathroom next door), the outdoor caterer is possible we failed to do it!!!! (next time we'll be back soon) perfect, I highly recommend, exceptional living address

We are extraordinary.

We were looking for a quiet and relaxing place near Aix-en-Provence to relax. Our good star brought us to the Bains du Soleil Levant. Everything was perfect: quality hospitality, a soothing atmosphere, high-end services worthy of a very nice hotel, a warm Japanese bath at all hours of the day (and evening), cleanliness of the place, a clean room (the bathroom is beautiful), fresh and varied products for breakfast... In short, we strongly recommend this address!

Zen week end

We spent a great time at the villa and the kids made the most of the swimming pool. It is convenient located, 5 minutes from the amazing aqueduct, 20 minutes from Aix-en-Provence. Nice setting for a large group of family and friends.  We stayed in one of the three airconditioned en-suite bedrooms at the back of the main house, which have individual outdoor hot tubs, and had nights of good sleep on the comfortable bed.

Villa with a serene environment

A few years ago, perhaps shortly after it had been re-designed, it would have been a delightful experience to visit but now its very run down and the claim that it can hold quite so many people something of an exaggeration. 
There are only three double rooms that are to the standard that most would expect for this price and are those to the rear of the property. The poolside apartment could provide another satisfactory double if only it had air conditioning but the rooms upstairs in the main house are no-where near what should be expected. Two of the rooms are virtually open to each other which makes it difficult for them to be occupied by adult couples as privacy would be a considerable issue. The third bedroom in that area is, to all appearances, a children's playroom come possible bedroom and not a serious adult room. None are air conditioned, although there are fans and all got uncomfortably hot during my visit in August.
There are various broken domestic appliances in the laundry room which really should be disposed of and not just left, the garden furniture is getting close to the end of its life and should have already been replaced and the impression given is that the whole property is in need of serious maintenance to bring it back to the standard that you would expect for the price you pay. Perhaps if it was still owner managed the problems would be less but it seems to be what one might get from using a simple management company that are not particularly caring. The most helpful person on site was the guy who came every few days to clean the pool and feed the fish in the decorative pond, whilst his English is non existent he was friendly and did whatever was asked of him!
The property was not ready for us on arrival but we were told in no uncertain terms that that was our fault for being 15 minutes early despite it being obvious that a lot more than 15 minutes work time would be needed to properly finish preparing the property for us. The handover was not that informative but no doubt some of that would be down to our not speaking French and the management ladies English not being particularly fluent.
Had we all not been of the same close family there might well have been difficulties, as it was we managed and had a great time but would advise others that the reality is not  quite as luxurious as lots of the reviews that were left a few years ago suggest.

Dear Sandy! Thank you so much for the amazing stay with our friends in July 2013. The property is nothing short of fantastic, with beautiful garden, swimming pool and the facilities. Everything is brand new, the bed and the pillows were the best we have ever experienced in the guests-houses before. Spacious rooms with the private garden including an amazing japaneese bath, which we enjoyed every evening!

Thanks for giving us the privacy and an outstanding service throughout our stay. After out poor experience prior to arriving to Les Bains it was pure heaven to stay in your guest-house.

The location is excellent, just 15 min drive to Aix en Provence, still in a quiet and idyllic surroundings. I would recommend Les Bains to anyone who wants an authentic and relaxing stay in Provence!
