Hotel Dos Mares

Wonderful hotel, I loved its rooms, very friendly staff, excellent food, I would visit it again, it hurts for those people who think differently and what they do when they comment horrible things is damage the image without reason of tourism in Cuba.

We stay at the motel located at 62 street a great vacation from the reception to the management!! Everything was outstanding our big family was surprised by the installation! We are coming back for sure!! Just one block from the beach!!

Upon early arrival ...was allowed to check in no problem, also had exchange for Canadian money in the lobby. Good rate as well. Very close to beach directly behind the hotel. Rooms come equipped with A/C, fridge, and bathroom. Hotel came complete with restaurant and coffee lounge/ bar.

+ Even the hotel is not the newest one it is clean and good located. There is a restaurant and 24-hour bar. The staff is helpful and friendly. We have relaxed and got to Varadero airport easily.
- It was a little bit noisy outside (cars, busses, music) at night time.

Stayed there february 2018. I was perfectly happy there . No luxuries and a bit worn but the staff was very friendly . I even booked extra days so no complaints . For that price it was perfect . One broken lamp was instantly replaced .

Amazing place for vacation

Completely content..

Good place for a short stay

Motel calle 62

great stay

I stayed just one night, without meals. There are many casas in Varadero, but they prefer passengers staying for two or more nights in a raw, plus not so reasonable. So I chose this hotel. Simple facility, good location. But in the middle of the night there were some drunk and loud people outside, just below my window.

good location, reasonable price

Hotel is located in Ave Varadero and was ok stay overnite here, price for room was ok, basic and also breakfast was good for what you pay here.
not to busy this time and easy to walk around the city or just pick the bus for city tour Varadero

Nice stay overnite here

On Friday October 29th 2021, we came back in our room, our computers were stolen and the same happened to our neighbor. There was no effraction but theives must have known how easy it is tp get in. The management reimbursed the other client who could show some kind of effraction. Globally, management did not offer us any thing (neither a small reimbursement nor a voucher). I asked if they could at least change the lockers but I believe they will never do it. You should always put your belongings in the safe and avoid bungalow 7 as no camera is looking at it.

Unsafe hotel, computers stolen with no effraction

I spent 3 weeks in Varadero in a house in Islazul belonging to Dos Mares Hotelwith my family, the first house on 60th Street was very bad, without lighting, dirty walls, broken bathrooms, broken room televisions, that is a disaster , I requested change, and they changed me to a house in 53 that was a little better, the Uviel companion very correct and friendly always aware of everything, the reception manager of the Dos Mares hotel treated us very unpleasantly and in a very racist way, She addressed us in an anti-professional manner and mistreated us, we do not understand what kind of education that person has and more working with clients, it is stunning, the cleaning lady of the house very good and attentive.

Very bad.
After paying the highest price per night at Hotel Dos Mares, we received a very bad treatment.
The cleanliness of the room is very bad, at the reception they refuse to provide an invoice for the payment of the accommodation, the restaurant offers a very bad meal and to finish, we asked for one more towel for the room and after calling the reception more than three times and They told us badly, the towel arrived two hours later.
We will never return.
