9 reviewsWe arrived late at night unexpectedly at Hangzhou airport due to typhoon in Japan, tried to find a hotel to stay for the night, ended up at Jinjiang Inn Xiaoshan near Hangzhou airport, online rate was $24, but unable to book online, just got on the free shuttle bus and went over, paid full rack price of 249 RMB or $37. At this low price, we didn't expect much. It was only 7 minutes form the airport, on a street with about a dozen airport hotels. Staff was friendly, room is large and clean, shower hot and powerful, hot water for tea, pillows and blanket just right. We had a solid good sleep after whole day flight cancellation and delay in Osaka. It felt nice. wifi was solid good speed. Next morning, we paid 18 RMB US$2.73 each for buffet breakfast, which was very good Chinese breakfast with wide selections, hot coffee, noodle station, fresh fried egg, the little Zhejiang style dumpling was exceptional. Taxi to West Lake is about 100 RMB or 30 minutes, there are also 3 early morning shuttle to Westlake, downtown, and train station, 30 RMB per person for the ride. It is a basic but clean good quality airport hotel. Constant roar of airplanes overhead, exactly same as Hampton Inn by Atlanta or any airports, but we did not hear the planes in the room. We left next day at noon by free shuttle and flew away. I'd recommend this airport economy hotel
