Stayed at Hotel Hallef three nights last December while in Puerto Natales

Nice hotel, friendly and helpful owner. 

Very clean, within walking distant from the water front, close to everything in Puerto Natales & the breakfast was good ..I recommend it : )

Nice hotel, has clean room and bathroom. Good breakfast. Center location, very near the bus station, supermarket, outdoor shop, restaurants and the city center. You can walk all that places in less ten minuts.

It was the best choice! Javier in the front desk was incredibly helpful and kind. Everything in Hallef Hotel was set to enjoy a weekend of tours and adventures. I loved the early breakfast before the tours start.

The staff is so friendly and helpful. They changed reservations and booked tours for us. They stored our baggage and chilled our wine. The room is clean and comfortable. They make you stay a pleasure.

Excellent customer service. The hotel is only a few blocks from the bus station, the room was clean and the bed was comfortable. Even though breakfast is scheduled from 6:30am, they were ready and available at 6am, providing me with plenty of time to eat and catch my bus at 7am.

Very clean and convenient location to town. Great pillows

We have stayed a few nights at Hallef. Overall was excellent the staff is very friendly. Frew Breakfast starts at 630 however there will be bread, ham, salami, coffee, yogurt that is brought out around 6am.  There will be dogs barking in the middle of the night and weak wifi but that is an issue all over Natales. No black out curtains over summer its bright daylight until 11pm. Toilet are deordorized and the rooms itself. They changed our bedsheet on our third day of staying at the hotel which was really nice of them. Strict checkin time at 3pm but can leave luggage.

Overall awesome experience , all staff was amazing answer all question and provided options and suggestions . Made our stay even better . Will definitely recommend this place and will book again if back to the patagonias

The accommodation was pretty basic, but clean and quiet. Good location for people who don’t have a car - 3 blocks to the Main Street of the town, 5 blocks to the bus terminal (important for catching that early bus to Torres del Paine), and 2 blocks to Erratic Rock and a few good restaurants.  Staff were very friendly and helpful, and allowed us to store some luggages at the hotel while we were doing the W Trek.  Good good breakfast with fresh made eggs. Overall a great value. Highly recommend and would stay again.

Great Hotel at Convenient Location with Friendly Staff

We stayed at the hotel two nights - one before and one after our trip to TP NP. The hotel is clean, comfortable, some amenities are too basic, but no major complaints. The hotel is situated about 10 min walking from the central bus station and about 10 minutes from the supermarkets and restaurants. The heat was on during our stay in December (+12 - +20 C outside), it was comfortably warm inside. Rooms are basic, but we had all what we needed. Breakfast was good - cereal, toasts, cheese, cold cuts, yogurt etc. The allowed us to to store some luggage during out trip to NP. Check in and out was fast. Staff is pleasant and helpful. During the first night (X-mas eve) there was some commotion outside at 2 AM, but nothing truly major, probably a few locals took celebration to the next level. The second night was very quiet, no street noise.

Clean basic hotel

Excellent cozy and clean

We arrived at the hotel at night, without expectations, and after a tiring day of travel. We have found a team that is willing to help, lead and even drive the need. It was fun to see. Despite the language difficulties, we managed to bridge everything. In the end, if in the future we return to the area we will be happy to stay at this hotel. do not miss.

Highly recommended

Good stopover prior to our TdP trek. The hotel stored our bags for us and generously allowed us to stay in the foyer for some time (unfortuntately all rooms were fully booked for showers) when we returned. 

Nothing fancy but clean rooms, OK breakfast and generally hospitable staff. Sound insulation as mentioned was not the best but is common in the area.

Good stopover pre-TdP trek

We really were pleased with our stay at Hotel Hallef. We were glad that it was close to both the bus station and to downtown, so it wasn't far to walk to either one. The rooms were clean and comfortable, the staff was very friendly. When we went backpacking for a few days, they kept our bags for us until we returned. Breakfast was included and was sufficient. Continental with eggs upon request. The coffee was much better than we found elsewhere in Patagonia. A bit pricy for Chile but that's Patagonia in the peak season. I would definitely stay here again.

Great location, clean and modern

The experience overall was good with the exception of being able to access the hotel during the day.We found on a particularly wet day that our plans were altered and on returning to the hotel that the desk wasn't unoccupied and that the only way we could gain access was knocking on the door until we were let in by the cleaner upstairs. When we went out later we had to get the cleaner to let us out and when we returned we again had to knock until the cleaner heard us.The breakfast was also very light on as if the hotel was very bottom line drive.

Clean hotel in convenient location

This cosy hotel is only a short walk from the bus station. The staff are incredibly friendly and went above and beyond to help me. The room was very nice with a surprisingly comfortable bed and pillows. Good heating and a great view. The room was clean and I was very impressed for what is labelled a three star hotel.

Great value for money

The clerk was very courteous to help purchase bus tickets for us to Torres del Paine and back to Punta Arenas, before we had arrived. This made our trip a lot easier for connecting to the next leg which we could not afford to miss. They even helped us make a reservation at a restaurant. The place is clean and quiet, food is good, and not to far away from downtown, or the bus station.

Good location, helpful clerks, clean facility

Stayed at Hotel Hallef two nights while in Puerto Natales, and I would highly recommend not only the hotel but its staff, especially Ignacio.  We arrived after LAN managed to lose one of our backpacks with all the camping gear we had planned to use on three-day W trek.  Ignacio was not there the night we arrived, but the new clerk was very friendly and even leant me his jacket (off his back) so I wouldn't freeze on my way to dinner.  The next day, Ignacio helped call LAN to inquire about baggage, provided us with suggestions on where to get rental camping gear, and was in general over the top friendly and supportive.  Would HIGHLY RECOMMEND this hotel to anyone coming through Puerto Natales - was clean, breakfast was tasty if simple, and staff was amazing.  Price was reasonable, and there were no negative surprises I can remember!  Great place for reasonable cost!
