Perfect spot to stay when long days traveling to the island need a break.

They say we will welcome you until 10:30pm....... I arrived 10pm and the place was locked and no lights.

After banging on the door and finding a blurry phone number to call. Finally someone opened a door from a room and said the were on the phone. They asked who I was and told me door was open.

I can't climb stairs with luggage. She sent someone who was really smelling of pot or bad odor, Never spoke even after I thanked so much.

I took pictures...and here is what you get for $300.....

- no security door unlocked
- glasses had liquid still in them
- closet is plastic stick on hooks
- all furniture dents , scrapes
- ice in fridge probably was contaminated
- no kleenex
- 1 ply toilet paper
- electrical not safe - 8 plugs into 1 adapter

There is more, but i need to forget this horrible experience I have experienced in over 40 years of glodal and domestic travel.

Don't ever stay here

My arrival to Vancouver was delayed however motel staff ensured that I could still access my room after hours.

The room was very nice and it was close to the Garry for foot traffic but a little harder to drive to. Finally got there with my gps. Kept missing the exit. But very nice place to stay. Parking lot is a little small but the room was huge.

If you’ve got an early ferry trip, this is a good option to stay the night - less than a five minute walk from the terminal.  Equally close to a range of restaurants and shops.  Room was comfortable for two people, and the bed was as cozy as any other place I’ve stayed at.  Check in was a breeze, with the staff helpful and engaging.

If you really need a place to stay near the ferry, then go for this one. It’s near and you wont need to worry with the hassle on the commute

Everything you’d need in a hotel. Plain simple and all you would diver need.

All you’d ever need!!

Ill start by saying that this was the only place I could find in horseshoe bay - I had a ferry booked for 7am so needed to be there at around 6am, so I needed to stay nearby.

This was the most overpriced place I have ever stayed, airport hotels are always expensive, but this was ridiculous.  

I arrived at 6pm to find that the reception was closed up, there was a note saying to phone up.  I was not able to phone as I do not have a phone that works in Canada, I was going to try and find a call box when a kind Canadian couple staying at the motel came over to see if I was ok, they called for me and I spoke to a lady who told me I was in room x and its unlocked so just go in.  I would like to suggest another time that you maybe give the option of getting in touch via watsapp, as people from another country will probably have access to the internet if they don't have a normal phone line.  Another helpful option which I have had at other places is for the property to email the guest and tell them what room they will be in, therefore cutting out this kind of unnecessary difficulty.

The room was furnished in the 1950s, dark wood, nothing matched, it was clean and tidy though.

I understand I was paying for convenience, but thats all I got, its an absolute rip-off.



A total rip-off

Pulled back the duvet and found 4 hairs in the sheets, of varying lengths and colours!!.....same in bathroom.

It was a quaint but cute outdoor entry motel with a very surprisingly cozy interior.  No air conditioning in the room but outside temps were fine for the night
