We stayed here one night in summer. This motel is in a central location in Huntsville. Friendly and welcoming staff who are happy to help. The rooms are a good size. There is a microwave and air con in rooms. The facilities are clean. Would stay again.

Great place to stay in Huntsville - nice and helpful people at front desk. I was lucky to get my room at ground floor with patio doors ( which was very convenient for walking my dog ), clean room with hardwood floor ( no invisible dirt in the carpet - specially since they are pet friendly)- unusual finding at motels but very nice touch ( I believe people with allergies would appreciate it as well ). No problem with hot water, no noise, fast Internet.  GREAT price - best in Huntsville!

We were a total of 8 adults 6 kids and had a great time at Red Maple Inn. The rooms were nice and clean. The guy at the front desk was very helpful. All our rooms were clean, so were our beds and washrooms. Fridge, Microwave, Heating and TV worked fine. Overall a good place to stay.

Location was perfect staff were very friendly and helpful especially crystal and Brian, awesome place to .family friendly awesome 
Pet friendly I would definitely come back. awesome town. Rooms was very clean .

Room was first one past the fire door into the hallway. People leaving at 7 a.m. very noisy letting that door slam about 5 times. not sure if anything can be done to slow close the door. then about an hour or so later the roofers started. Would have been nice if that could have waiting to at least 10 a.m for those of us who are on holiday hoping to get a big of extra sleep. Did like the room and the Algonquin art work - our room had moose picture about headboard Just wish we could have gotten some sleep.

Great Stay

Awesome Stay with my dog patch from Acton ontario

Nice and Clean Thanksgiving weekend stay.

Arrived to a Luke warm reception and realized the place needed repair. An obvious lack of maintenance and a good deep cleaning of this hotel is required. Set outside of town and would take several minutes to drive there and nowhere to walk to for eats and drinks. Room however was clean, with a firm, but comfortable bed, fridge and microwave. Look elsewhere unless you just want to get a nights sleep. not recommended.

Lack of maintenance.

First off - it’s not a Super 8 in any way, shape or form. It’s a super tired version, with small signs that it uses to be this chain hotel. 

We phoned to book our room, and even that was a process. The man who took our call wasn’t super organized.  He did have availability, wait we don’t, yes do, sort of thing.  We got our total, asking if that included the fee for our dog, in which he said yes. 

We arrived at the hotel, and the grounds were covered in cigarette butts.  Not too impressive, but I didn’t want to judge too quickly.  Upon entry, we not greeted at all. We passed a man who did work there, who didn’t say anything to us. We had to wait for someone to come to the desk.  The man couldn’t find our reservation, and when he finally did, our total price for the 3 nights we were staying did not match what he confirmed on the phone hours earlier.  We were given our room key, and weren’t given any direction or any more information... not another word, really. 

The hotel was generally very tired.  The lobby had seen better days... there was a couple of chairs, and a Keurig set up on a piece of stained wood instead of a counter top.  The hallways needed to be swept and vacuumed, the stairs desperately need to be fixed.  

The walls of the rooms were paper thin.  If the next door neighbours showered, you could hear it loud and clear.  My husband could hear the neighbour snoring over night. 

The rooms were generally ok.  Again, needed to be cleaned a little more... as there were hairs on the bathroom radiator.  Stained sheets on the beds, and unfinished parts of the room.  Meh. 

They advertise free continental breakfast... and went downstairs, but couldn’t find anyone working there to ask, didn’t see any  food.  Read more Trip Advisor reviews, and someone said they went across the street... we did, and the food was excellent! 

We took most of our belongings out of the room while we were away, because we just didn’t feel comfortable leaving them there. 

I’d say, if you have the chance to stay somewhere else... do it. If you need just a place to stay, and aren’t super picky, it’s just okay. 


Nope 

The motel is in serious disrepair. When you enter the room you are greeted with a strong fragrance. I soon figured out it was to mask the filth. Dry wall was crumbling above the glass door. It was when I pulled back the sheets on both beds that I told my husband there was NO way I was staying. The sheets had obviously been slept in. There were hairs and smeared blood on one of the beds. When I checked the other bed, there were semen stains on the sheets. We promptly left. The man at reception was not happy but thats too bad. Where is the health unit? This place should be bosrded up! Stay away!

Filthy, slept in beds!

If you value your health and well-being you won’t stay here. The stench as soon as you walk in the front door is absolutely disgusting, the filth in the stairwells in the hallways is even more disgusting than the stench. Walk into your room and there’s mold the ceiling is chipping away the furniture looks like they just took it off the street from somebody’s yard sale the microwave looks like it’s from 1967 the bedsheets couldn’t tell if it was blood or lipstick couple of the towels in the bathroom couldn’t tell if it was human feces stains with chocolate stains irregardless the place is a dump never ever stay in this place again

Welfare hotel

First of all, check in keys are pulled & stored in a yogurt container. No elevator.  Our room didn’t even have a formal number on the door.  It was a photocopy pasted with tape.  The keys don’t work.  People were able to go in and out of our room until we received a strange key.  You know when you were a kid and you had a diary with a little metal key, well that was the key to lock and unlock the door.  Rooms are musty smelling and filthy.  We could hear dogs barking in the surrounding rooms.
