This is the 3rd time we have stayed here, Staff remembered us from our last visit which was some 2 years ago! Receptionist came up and made up the sofa bed. Good night sleep once again here! Shower room is large in size and the temperature of the shower can get very hot! Would stay again on the next visit

Great stay Once again

Staff were amazing,the food was very good,.the rooms are comfortable and have wifi,english tv etc.
they could not do any more to make me and my wife at home if they tried. I cannot praise them enough. 
i will be staying there again. The breakfast was plentifull and very fresh served with juice and coffee, a simple request got you more at no extra charge if you wanted. i drink a lot off coffee and juice :)

value for the money

I'm somewhat reluctant to give this hotel a poor review because the reception staff was so accommodating.  Unfortunately, the hotel doesn't deserve a good review.  Here's why: (1) Even though the reception staff are friendly and helpful, they're never at the reception - you have to ring the bell.  And they don't speak English; (2) It's in a boring area, 25-30 minutes walk to the old town; (3) Since it's only a few meters from a very busy boulevard, it's very noisy.  And just at the side of the hotel is a wide pedestrian walkway that is always busy and noisy; (4) There is quite a lot of floor space but the wardrobe is small with only 3 hangers;(5) The shower stall doesn't have sliding doors but a sort of half glass wall so water easy splashes onto the bathroom floor while you're showering.  And the water drains so slowly that it accumulates in the shower stall almost as soon as you turn on the shower; (6) You get one small bottle of bath gel - that's it; (7) There're no coffee/tea making facilities, no safe, no mini bar (so no fridge); (8) Smoking and non-smoking rooms are on the same floor! (9) The bedroom is very plain and the walls are bare; (10) At night, light easily filters through and around the small curtains. (11) You can smell the restaurant food in your bedroom. There's a door at the entrance to each floor which they keep opened although I try to shut it a few times.  When I told the reception (she had someone who works in the restaurant interpret for me) that I was leaving early the next day, she was very kind to offer me an early breakfast or to pack sandwiches, etc.  She's absolutely wonderful.  By the way, breakfast is a platter of cheeses, vegetables, toast, jam and cold cuts.  Be warned for those of you who have  kids - there're three free x-rated channels on TV.  CNN is the only English news channel available.  The free wifi is reasonably fast and reliable.  Stay here if you don't have a choice but have ear plugs handy (I did).

Avoidable

I stayed for a second time this year at this hotel in Veliko Tarnovo. The room was spacious and clean. The breakfast, which  is included in the price, is served individually. It is big enough for a person, however, the only thing one can choose is the type of the hot drink - everything else is the same every day. What I liked is the personal approach by the staff - I had a small problem with my car and asked for assistance at the reception. They not only responded immediately by calling a trusted service but one of the staff members jumped into his car and let me driving behind him on the way to the service, which I could hardly find alone. 
Overall evaluation: very good value for money + personal approach that exceeded my expectations for a hotel of this type.

Hospitality and very good value for money

Very nice, clean and calm family hotel - big and comfortable rooms, new furniture and renovation baths. Ever smiling and friendly staff. Free parking. Good food - including brick-oven pizza and Bulgarian traditional dishes. We had small problem with the reservation because we have booked a studio but instead we were accommodated in double room. Finally the room was really nice so the replacement was quite OK. The location is not in the city center but the town is small and you have 10-15 minutes walking to the old town or you can call a taxi - the price is at about 2 euro.

I was surprised to get to the hotel with the forecast for rain, which, unfortunately, adjusted mine for snow. And it's October 24th! When you leave Burgas at plus 15!!! To be fair, it should be said that in Burgas the sun has changed to a storm. So, the prospect of staying at the hotel not for 2 days but longer because of the closure did not frighten me. It's a very cozy room. It's a soft floor. Even the floor with heating in the bathroom. There are no slippers and dresses. There is no refrigerator. But wifi is available everywhere. Delicious food with discounts and cafes and pizzeria, free parking for the car. The staff is responsive. Even one of the officers says snowflakes, although Russian tourists don't want to go to the bathroom. There are no instructions for where to go except for a coffee shop or a coffee shop.

We were at this hotel for the last two holidays and as an overall experience I would give a seven and a half. When we took advantage of an online promotion with two single beds joining them almost safely in front of us (first on the third floor without an elevator, I think it would have been so close to the price we would normally pay, that it would have been better to present ourselves as normal customers and know that we could claim the right one). NEGATIVE POINTS: 1) with a reservation of over two months earlier, when we arrived they couldn't even know who we were, and they set up in a hurry and rage to unlock a room with two single beds joining them almost safely in front of us (first on the third floor without an elevator, I think it would have been better to have SOLO on Friday), so let's get back to the usual rooms - and show off the dirt of the house - and then let's get back to the usual room - where the beds were located - and then let's get back to the hotel - and then let's get back to the hotel - a few hours later -
