The art guesthouse is THE place to be in Plovdiv! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ The best location in Capana, the most beautiful place of the center of plovdiv with restaurants, bars, cafes and many little shops. It's licated in a quiet little street. The owner Ivan is a lovely guy who will make all the necessary things and advices you need. He comes in 5 minutes if you need something and he is a very nice person. You should take the room with the roiftop to enjoy your breakfast with a stunning view on Plovdiv and all the monuments, the hills and the mountains. But what i have prefered is a night view where you can drink a glass of wine. Incredible guest house experience here! I travel a lot and it was one of my best! You should go without any hesitatiin! A big thank you Ivan! 😊👍

I had a room at the top, with a balcony, and a secret)) door on the rooftop, on the terrace with a wonderful view of the city. The staircase is very steep, but my dearest master Ivan helped me to pull the suitcase. He speaks not badly in Russian.

It's cozy, comfortable and welcoming!

The owner is a very pleasant person who got me a full refund when I voiced my disappointment with the lodging. 

I was offered a small apartment with two rooms on the ground floor with an entrance directly from the street. 

In reality there is only one small room available because the first room are used on occasion as a bar [now closed] with a narrow bar counter along the wall with several bar chairs and small fridges. The first room was used as a storage room. There is a small two person couch but no table, the space filled with another bar chair. 

What is available is one small room with 2 beds and an equally small bathroom. There were no facility like a small kitchen etc.

The location is excellent and the other places at Residence Art Guest House looks fine but the ground floor apartment can not be recommended.

Everything is a little different here. The rooms are equipped with everything necessary and decorated with attractive art, the location of the house in a quiet side street of the artists' and bar's district Kapana is simply brilliant, the family of the operator accepts you not as a guest, but as a good friend.

In the middle of Plovdiv with friends at home

Good quality price ratio. Gentle owner and explaining how to best visit the city. Designed for young people can also be used by sports families. The location is also convenient for visiting the belvedere and the historic center.

Pretty small, but totally cozy, clean and situated in an excellent location between the old town and the city center. Ivan, the owner, was really helpful and suggested some awesome places to eat and other things to visit. Totally suggesting it!

Convenient

I have been at this Residence for 6 nights: I have to say that it was the best accommodation I could ever find. The location is very central, in the neighborhood of Kabana, the rooms are cozy and very clean. The room on the top floor is extraordinary as it gives access to the roof terrace, with an amazing view of Old Plovdiv! Ivan, the owner, was also very helpful and kind and gave me all the information and suggestion I needed. Thank you!

The hostel is very well located throughout the centre of Plovdiv, the facilities are excellent (TV, air conditioning, balcony) and the best of all is the kindness and good energy of Yvan!! Thanks to his tips we can discover the good places in Plovdiv and excellent plans that do not appear in the singing fountains.

Excellent hostel in Plovdiv

This was one of my first times I stayed at this type of place, the first time I stayed at this type of residence / holiday house was just before i arrived here whilst in Sofia, I only ever stayed at hotels, I must say I enjoyed this stay very much, the owner Ivan was very helpful and friendly, to ensure we was happy, the place itself is very nice like a home more than a hotel and sense of belonging, I understand when they say 'a home away from home' the area The Kapana is a very nice district too very convenient to shops/ tourist attractions and restaurants so that was icing on the cake !! I definitely stay here again when I return to Plovdiv so I like to think that their will always be a door opened for me to return, I recommend this place if you are or thinking making a visit to Plovdiv !

What a great visit !!!!!

We had a big, clean, comfortable room with a balcony.  Location is great - in the art district and close to the old town, on a quiet street.  Walking distance to most attractions. The host, Ivan, was very friendly and helpful.  He had lots of good recommendations. A full kitchen is available for guests.
