VELINN Hotel Fazenda Fonte das Hortênsias

We stayed here at the recommendation of a person in Sao Paulo and enjoyed our stay. This hotel is older, but kept up. We had hammocks to lay in during the day and that was great! They have bikes you can use for free, with helmets. We rode to the waterfall that was about an hour ride there and 45 minutes returning. It was a little hard going to the waterfall because it was uphill, but it was not that bad. We are in our late 50's and we did it. We had to walk a little bit, but it was worth our effort. There is a fireplace and wood is included. It was nice to just sit in front of the fireplace and hold one another. There is an outdoor pool, but it was too cold. So, we used the heated indoor pool and it was wonderful. We entered the sauna for a little while and then back to the pool. There were board games and we played a game of chess near the pool. There is a refrigerator in the room that is available, but no snacks or drinks are in the room. There is wifi in the room, but the signal was weak. We didn't try another location on site, but I'm sure you could go to a place with good signal. We ate at some nice restaurants there and we will write a review for them too.
