The place is exceptional! I have never been in such a lovely B&B. The interior of the Villa Alice is cosy and elegant; the owners are into art and design which gives a fantastic atmosphere. The breakfast is a masterpiece! Everything is not only fresh but natural and organic. Fruits that you will eat there are the best! To me, it was a wonderful experience, and next time in Rio I will try to stay there as well. It is easy to get to the Villa Alice; buses regularly go from Largo de Machado, taxis are also available. I would recommend the place to anybody looking for a quiet place to stay. The view is great with windows facing Urca or the beautiful garden where you can enjoy with complimentary coffee, water, tea or a slice of cake. Wifi is free to the guests and works well. For those of you interested, there is air conditioning, but the building is quite old and keeps moderate temperatures. Many thanks to the host - lovely people who made us feel at home all the time. Villa Alice is in the middle of the huge city, but it feels peaceful and cosy. You created an exceptional space for your guests! Thank you!
