We had two rooms at this B & B. The B & B is in the middle of town with walking distance to everything in Gent. The rooms were very big and especially one room had a very special but nice decor. The beds were very nice and big. The breakfast was served on a big plate outside. The breakfast was very good.  If you are en Gent you should try this place.

Booked this room for only one night, took the Shang Hai room. And it was simply incredible! The room itself is huge, the room comes with a bath and rain shower. Outside there is a jacuzzi, which is absolutely amazing. Even while it was raining outside. The room is located only 5 minutes walking from the city centre, where there are some very fine restaurants. I recommend this room for everyone whose planning a trip to Gent!

Read all the reviews... Looked at all the pictures but nothing quite compares with walking in to the Shanghai Suite.

It is very dark and sensual ... The bed is huge which suited my 6'5 husband perfectly! The bathroom is amazing - a giant rainfall shower, gorgeous huge bathtub and a hot tub outside.

Breakfast was a fantastic continental selection left on a trolley outside the room.

We were not disturbed at all and enjoyed every minute of our stay.

The B&B is in a nice central location - close to the vridjmarkt and a lot of fantastic bars and restaurants!

If we had any niggles during our stay they would be tiny... It was a little rainy during our stay and so we didn't feel comfortable making much use of the hot tub... A cover overhead would be perfect.

Great location nearby bars and restaurants. Fun b and b, interesting decor with themed rooms, walk in shower room, bath AND Jacuzzi! Nice continental breakfast with the usual cheese, ham and muesli. Apples were a bit old but apart from that quite nice. Thoroughly enjoyed the hot tub. Would recommend for couples looking for something a bit different. Would have got 5 starts however we were disturbed on the last day by a workman accidentally entering the room and some noise from their activities. This wasn't the end of the world as it was close to check out time, however did take the shine off a lovely stay.

A romantic honeymoon city break

The room was large, colourful and extravagantly decorated.  The two aspects that detract from it are, firstly, the open plan toilet, with just a simple bead screen to separate it from the rest of the room, won't be to everyone's taste, secondly, the room needed deep cleaning and re-decorating.
Ignoring those details it's worth a stop and although the room was on the road there was no issue with noise at night.

Unusual and interesting

When it looks to good to be true, it is not true! Very bad experience, we left before we even got started. The reception was rude, the rooms poor, next to a very busy road, that time under constructions, the welness shown in the pictures not there, way to expensive. Preteding in marketing they aim for high end market, but it is nothing like that. The hotelrooms are built in an old squizy house with narrow stairs and small rooms.
