We haven’t stayed in Art of Linden yet but we are actually booked next week. Due to the unexpected circumstances of the travel restrictions we are unable to go. I am writing a review to give credit to the team handling the reservation of how good they handle the cancellation very understanding and I am sure we will be taken care of once we go visit them in the near future. Special thanks yo Reggie for all the help.

Appreciation review

The perfect place to stay in the Yarra Valley. Accessible but yet secluded. Lots of privacy and beautiful views. Warmth from the wood stove is the perfect touch to snuggle up after a day of adventure in the Valley. Just minutes away from the nearest town. Winery and restaurant (closes early evening) just next door. We would stay again.

Beautiful Place, Cozy, Comfortable!

Came across this beautiful place on web search. The actual place was as beautiful as in photos. The owner was very nice and helpful; when I caused a little troubles during bookings, she was supportive and patient to accommodate my needs. The 2 rooms cottage actually came with a room in a room. The kitchen was well equipped with all you need to prepare your meals. The spa tub with window on top, was huge with good water pressure for a relaxing bath. The fire place was not only cozy; best was unlike those electrical ones, you need to fetch and add your wood! As the name stated, there was an art gallery which we visited after check out. If you are a arts lover, you could purchase those you like at the gallery. We had a nice, cozy, memorable 2 nights family stay.

Beautiful, Artistic Cottage

I stumbled across this gem of an art gallery a few weeks ago and returned to look at a new collection of art on exhibit last week as I thought it a great way to start gathering holiday gifts for our friends and family. What a fabulous way to show-case local artists in the beautiful Yarra Valley and Ranges, which certainly brings out the artist in the most uncreative souls, I'd say. These artists, many of which are professional, some dabbling in art and finding their niche, are worth showcasing. We've not stayed in the B&B on the property but manager Reggie gave us the tour and the vistas of the spectacular region make for a natural palette of art, even from the gallery windows.

Delightful art gallery and accommodation

It was sheer bliss sitting on the patio with some wine, enjoying the view overlooking a rolling valley with vineyards and farm land, and Mount Toolebewong and the Yarra Ranges in the distance. We watched the sun go down and the stars come out, as the chirping of birds gave way those of crickets. We cooked steaks and had dinner by candle light. After dinner, back to the patio for an amazing display of stars, including the milky way which was clearly visible to the naked eye.

Oh yes, the accommodation – a boutique development with two cottages and an apartment. The two rustic cottages had adjoining doors that can be opened up to accommodate a larger family. Four steps to navigate to get to the cottages. We booked a Superior Cottage of 48 sq metres, and opted for the breakfast, where bacon, eggs, mushrooms, tomatoes, cereal and bread were left in the cottage. The cottage was delightfully decorated, with a wood-burning fireplace in the living area. CDs, DVDs, books and a music system available for use. The bedroom was air-conditioned and featured a bed that was nice and firm. Spacious bathroom with a Jacuzzi that will accommodate two persons. Free wifi and covered parking, and lots of powerpoints to charge your devices. 

A word about the location. You’ll need a car to get around, as the property is about 3 km from Yarra Glen town. Nearest restaurant is about 1 km away, but opens for lunch on only 4 days a week and dinner only on weekends. Several restaurants in Yarra Glen itself, as well as a well-stocked supermarket. We could have spent a decadent few days at Art At Linden Gate, doing absolutely nothing except enjoy the accommodate and admire the view.

Sheer bliss

Lovely sized rooms, modern bathroom with the country ambience of an open fireplace and horses at our front door. Reggie was lovely and made sure we were comfortable. We only had two nights, we should have stayed longer. Close to all the wineries and restaurants, with an Art Gallery on site.

My parents stayed here for a weekend for a wedding and love their time here. Amazing breakfast basket and fresh cooked bread !! A quiet and amazing view over the Dandenong ranges. Very roomy accommodation and large bathroom and spa. Own cooking area with plates and utensils. They would stay here in a heartbeat again...

On our tour of Australia, we stayed here for one night at the hotel and would have liked to spend every night in such a luxury: modern furniture, hot tub, comfortable bed, large terrace with dream view very nice hostess! The breakfast (abundant!) is in the fridge and is prepared by itself - I found a good idea, since you feel at home and everyone can do it in their own time/direct the view over the vineyards is wonderful!!!!
