I stayed here for three days at what should have been the start of a tour of SE Asia but which was cut short by the world wide pandemic. In spite of the fact that the situation was fast deteriorating with things being closed and trips cancelled, the hotel remained a positive place to be. My room was clean and comfortable, the staff were helpful, and the breakfast was really nice. The hotel is in an excellent situation, close to the lake, some museums, and the shopping area. There was a really excellent cake shop just down the road, and a Starbucks situated in the hotel lobby. It is really easy to walk to various attractions and amenities from the hotel, and very convenient for a night walk around the lake. There are great views from the hotel and a bar where our tour group had a sad goodbye drink before we were sent home. In spite of the circumstances I really liked this hotel and would be very happy to stay there again should I ever be able to return to complete the tour.
