ORIANTAL ROMANCE SUITE;  ABSOLUTELY FILTHY DIRTY. THE ENTIRE ROOM.  AND MIRRORS.  WERE COVERED.  IN STICKY SCUM FILM. DUST IS '' INCHES THICK'''  EVERYWHERE. THE HEADBOARD. COVERED IN WHITE LIQUID STAINS.  IN AN ADULT HOTEL.  THE TUB MIRRORS.  HAD NOT ONLY BEHIND PRINTS AND THICK SCUM ALL OVER THEM.  BUT HAD ALSO WHAT LOOKED LIKE SEMAN DROPLETS.  ON THE OVER BED MIRRORS ALSO...  THE BLANKET STUNK!!  LIKE STALE BEER.  WIT MEANS THEY NEVER CHANGED.  THE BLANKET!!  THE DUST.  IS SO THICK. I CHOKED!!   ALL NIGHT. the filters are thick with dust mites also.  THE FAKE FIRE PLACE. WAS SOME SORT OF BAD JOKE. 3 LIGHT BULBS WERE OUT. WHEN YOU PUT THE FIRE PLACE ON. THE ROOM FILLS WITH DUST! MAKING YOU NEED.  TO OPEN THE DOOR.  IN WINTER.  EVERY SINGLE THING. IS OLD. WORN OUT OR DAMAGED. THE CARPET IS GROSS AND STINKY.  NEVER AGAIN!!!!   I did not see any bed bugs. but it is winter . When bbs are hibernating. 

SCUM COVERED FEATHERS NEST 

My boyfriend and I celebrated my birthday here because we needed a romantic and relaxing weekend getaway. We selected a standard delux room and it was exactly what was pictured. 

We were not disappointed with the room or the whirlpool tub. In fact, the whirlpool was everything we wanted and needed to make our stay memorable and relaxing. On the first night of our stay (my birthday) we even saw deer across from our room door. 
I had a phenomenal time and will definitely be coming back to experience a suite or themed room.

My only complaints are there were no ashtrays in the room (I booked a smoking room) but that wasn’t a huge issue at all.

Had a beautiful stay here. Me and my significant other came here for the 4th of July. Service was very respectful and very fast. Themed Room's are very beautiful. If you wanna feel your natural roots the Natural Cave is the way to go! If you wanna feel at peace, relaxationn and Zen the Pagoda Room is the way to go! Will be back. The staff met our needs. Will be coming back.



Feathers Nest Inn. Best themed Room's 

The lobby reeks of stale cigarettes. I had to wait outside until the person before me was done checking in. The smell made me very nauseated. There has got to be a way to filter the air. It's so gross. Especially since I don't smoke. It was like a stale ashtray. 
We stayed in the desert tent. The ceiling fan we didn't use cause it has so much dust on it. The room had a funky smell too. Little bit of sweat and cigarettes smell. We kept the AC on the entire time even when we weren't there. Also went to the dollar store and bought air freshener cones. 
The jacuzzi is good though. 
The TV was okay but the title of the shows on the stations weren't correct for some reason. 
I would stay again if the rooms smelled more fresh.

It was alright

Stayed in the Blue Lagoon room and loved it. Very clean, looks exactly like the photos. Just 10-15 minutes from downtown Philly. Came last year and stayed in the Ice Cave; definitely will be back and encourage anyone to come.

Omg this place is beautiful,  Nicole at the front desk was very helpful. We are booking again in 3 months. Thank you feathers nest for bringing something new and exciting to my life. The Ice cave was something outa this world. I was amazed. Treasure island I hope will be just as great. This will be a Double couple trip next time. My friend will be booking 2 nights in another themed room!

IceCave Getaway

Everything was fine, however, my boyfriend and I booked the garden suite based on the pictures on the website. We were placed in room 309, which had a heart shaped tub but none of the other features — barely any mirrors, no wallpaper, black walls. It’s a bummer since we had been looking forward to this for a while, and it was our Valentine’s weekend trip. All other themed rooms seemed exactly as pictured. If you book online, maybe call to make sure your room is as pictured and not room 309. Pretty disappointing :(

My fiance and i stayed here for two nights for our anniversary and we will never return. upon check in we were notified our reservation had been cancelled with out notice, the receptionist couldnt even find the cancellation email on their end telling me it was a no notice cancellation. We've been planning this trip since November so it was very discouraging. the room we desired (Jungle Room) wasnt available which resulted in us cancelling the professional photoshoot we had booked for that night. the receptionist assured us our room would be available the next day and that we could leave our things in our temporary room (Desert Tent) and that theyd call us when the Jungle Room was ready for us. we returned at 4pm to being locked out of our room with no missed calls. When we got to the lobby they informed us we would have to stay in the Desert Tent room again since we did not remove our items before 12 for cleaning. I tried to explain what the other receptionist explained to me the day prior and all she could say was 'im not sure why shed tell you that'. they then said they called me 3 times to prevent any issues and i told them i have no missed calls. upon hearing that the receptionist says they called my room 3 times and that they never took my phone number when re-entering my reservation. when i asked they had no reason for not gathering all of my details when re-entering my reservation. begrudgingly we headed back to the undesired room to relax to find our whirlpool wasnt working. we called the front desk multiple times and even had them walk us through rebooting the whirlpool but it still didnt work. they refused to send someone over to look at it. its at this point i am extremely dissatisfied with my stay and i request a refund. they refuse to issue a refund and said i must take up all my complaints with management in the morning (they leave at 4pm and do not have an emergency line). When i got the chance to express my concerns to management the next day they still refused to issue me a refund and only offered a $50 off coupon towards my next stay, which doesnt even cover 1/2 of a room with the whirlpool that we'd previously missed out on. but i will never give them my business again. This inn seems to only be concerned about revenue and not building meaningful relationships with guests that turn into repeated business. I would not recommend this inn ESPECIALLY if you are new to booking hotels. Absolutely unacceptable communication between employees and even worse communication when it comes to guests, not to mention the drapes in the room are nailed to the walls and have many questionable stains on them.

TERRIBLE COMMUNICATION

This hotel hit all my charmingly cheesy buttons in all the right ways.  It was clean, the bed was comfortable, the tub worked great and filled quickly.  The remote didn’t work great for the tv but that was the only complaint.  We did let the front desk know on check out.  Super close to Philly if your looking for things to do in the area.  My favorite “extra” was a switch next to the door and light switch’s that played Lionel Richie music “all night long” over the speakers in the room.  So fun and unique.  They have a great grassy private area around the hotel that would be awesome if they added some landscaping and picnic areas maybe even a pool or outdoor hot tub.  It’s a space with lots of unused potential.  Definitely will be back to check out another themed suite and see with other suites play over there speakers.  Not sure if they can top the entire Lionel Richie musical catalog.

Fun and charming anniversary weekend

The room we stayed in had black mold, the carpet was disgusting 😒 and the water fall when you turned on the jets was disgusting and smalled of swamp. The front door down at the bottom has black mold on it, you go in the bathroom shower doors off track and black mold on the bottom on those doors as well. The refrigerator had old food in it that they didn't take out and when you enter the room you can smell the mold. I have been sick since staying there.
