Recently under new ownership, this place has come a long way in the past few years! The owners and staff are very nice and provided us with a welcoming, fun experience. The new owners have been coming up here for 30 years and are very informative and know the area very well. Great food, great drinks, clean rooms, and overall great service. The ATV rentals are a great way to explore the area with the family.

I reserved this room..,and then drove from s as Alabama and showed up on my reserved day and the place was closed…, had to stay somewhere else and the worst part is… they charged me for the room!!!! Not again

Double check twice!

Don’t stay here. Saw this inn on WY BDR video and wanted to support it. Stayed Sept 7th at full price. Nobody there, key in box, restaurant and bar not open, pool not open. Had to go to Bear Lodge for dinner and beverage. Room nice but full price was a rip off. Don’t support.

I don't ever leave reviews, but people need to be warned about this place. 
 Save yourself the trouble and AVOID this place at all costs and go up the road to Bear Lodge!!  We stayed here in June and have never been treated this badly ever.  After waiting THREE hours for our food the server was so rude and unprofessional to our whole group, and then on top of that left himself a tip on our bills that he refused to take off.  He was rude, obnoxious and his language was uncalled for.  The sad part is that the owner sat there and let him act this way to paying customers and never once said a word to him to stop the way he was acting.  We will never stop here again and will spread the word for others not to either.

Avoid this place at all costs!!

Beautiful location.  Property has potential, but dirty and needs a lot of maintenance.  For $170/night we expected more.  King bed was two singles pushed together. Big gap in the center of the bed. Everything was dirty in the halls and building entrances.  A bird nest over the front door -bird crap you had to walk through. Bar/Grill was mediocre. Bar service was good, but slow because only one worker running hard.  Breakfast was good.  Service was poor.  9 of us came in four were served reasonably, two more in 45 minutes and the last in 1 hr 20 minutes.  Saw others getting up and leaving.  Overall, it served it's purpose, but pretty spendy for what we got.

The rooms were comfortable and quiet and the breakfast was absolutely amazing. The staff and owner was super nice and we were very accomodated. We enjoyed our stay very much and will definitely return.

We had 13 adults renting 6 rooms for 5 days - very expensive. No refrigerator or microwave in rooms. No ice machine - had to buy ice, no pop or vending machines, very poor Wi-Fi, game room didn’t have equipment to play the tables, pool and hot tub have been down for years. Some of our rooms had very little hot water or water pressure, toilet would constantly run. The air conditioning units didn’t run as they should have. No maid service during our stay. Asked for towels early evening and we were told we had to wait till  9 am the next morning. We were very disappointed in our accommodations and lack of service from the owners. We will never stay here again. 

Not staying again!

We were very disappointed in our stay. We have stayed at the Wlk View before and loved it. The place is just run down. There's no staff if you have a late check in. There's a note to get your key from a white drop box by the bar. Upon arrival,  no key. Went into thw bar and waited 45 minutes for the bartender to get my key to me. (And it wasn't busy) Got to the room and the door looked like it had been kicked in. Door handle didn't turn all the way.  No ice or vending machines or in room fridges or microwaves. Oyr shower leaked all over the bathroom floor. We didn't have enough towels after cleaning that up. Asked for towels 2 days in a row before finally catching a maid in the supply room and getting them from her. The pool and hot tub room were shut down. Not sure why but it breaks our hearts to see a place we have had so ma y great memories, become so poorly neglected. That being said, when you find someone who works there they are really nice.

Great service with friendly staff. Food was great and Taco the bartender was a great mixologist.
