We visited Highgate Hotel to celebrate my 21st birthday which made it a birthday I’ll never forget. We stayed in the lovely Spring room which was so beautifully decorated *photos linked below.* We was greeted with champagne which I think was such a lovely touch! As the house is a Bed and Breakfast we was woken up both mornings to a breakfast platter which I only can describe as brilliant. With a selection from bacon cobs, croissants, crumpets, toast, fruit bowls, tea, coffee and juice we was spoilt! *photos linked below as I can only admire the presentation.* Johnathan was our host for the weekend who was so welcoming and was always there if we needed anything. Unfortunately we didn’t get to meet Louise but hopefully next time! :) As a frequent Whitby visitor I can now say I have found my go-to place for my annual trips.

This property will not accommodate hen, stag or similar parties. Please note that check-in outside of normal hours can only be organised by prior arrangement. Please note that there are several flights of stone steps to access the house from the street and 2 flights of stairs to access the rooms from the hall. Also, the walk to and from town is via a steep slope. Highgate House may therefore not be suitable for guests with mobility difficulties.
