The Sea Spirit Guest House

All the staff we met were very helpful and accommodating without ever being intrusive. The room was large and clean with a huge bed (and warm enough despite it being one of the coldest nights of the year) with lots of extras you'd expect in a big hotel rather than a B&B, like dressing gowns and extra pillows. The breakfast was fantastic - we had the veggie option and it was excellent. We appreciated having our own key to the front door so that we could come and go easily at night without disturbing anyone. We didn't hear a peep from any neighbouring rooms so the soundproofing appears to be decent. Our only complaint was that the air freshener in the room was very strong, which gave me a headache - I realise that wouldn't bother everyone, but if you are sensitive to strong perfume smells it might be worth asking in advance of the booking for them to not use it in your room.
