The Almar

So difficult to add to the many superlatives mentioned on so many previous reviews! Julie and John are amazing hosts - kind, friendly, helpful and attentive, the B&B experience does not, and cannot get any better than this. The choice and quality of the breakfasts was superb, freshly cooked to order by John and expertly served by Julie. Our bedroom was spotless, quiet and comfortable with top quality bed linen and towels. My partner, who has some disablity issues appreciated the stair-lift, and parking right by the front door was also very helpful for us. Finally I must mention the very comfortable and friendly well stocked bar. Our favourite tipple of rhubarb and ginger gin, with elderflower tonic water, was available each night of our stay, and served at a price that could turn heads at Wetherspoons! Thank you John and Julie - we are looking forward very much to returning to your home from home before the end of the year!
