Lostwithiel Golf & Country Club

When arriving at the hotel there is a very warm and welcoming atmosphere, the staff are very friendly and make you feel very welcome. The restaurant is lovely with very tasty food in the newly re-furbished restaurant. They also have an exceptionally large, heated, indoor swimming pool just a step away from the rooms, which is nice if you would like a swim. The Hotel is a dog friendly hotel, which is useful as there is many walks around Lostwithiel and as they are positioned about 4 miles away from Respryn it is easy enough to jump in the car and go down for a nice picnic for the day. The location of the hotel is nice, just far enough from the main road, so that it is very quite, it is about a 15 minute walk into the the town centre, which is filled with lots of little shops, cafe's and lots of history. Lostwithiel is also positioned right in the middle of Cornwall, so it is fairly easy to go to local attractions, such as Cornwall Crealy, Flambards, Newquay Zoo, The Eden Project and so on, all good if you have children. If you are looking for a peaceful, relaxing trip, in an area rich in History and easy access to the rest of Cornwall, this is certainly the place to come.
