My wife and I stayed here with friends from Devon.  Our rooms were comfortable, spacious and spotlessly clean.  We dined in the restaurant every evening and enjoyed each meal.   The 4 curries on the menu allowed us to sample each one, and the fish and chips and other entrees were outstanding.   Prices for the rooms and meals were reasonable, and I’d definitely stay here again.

We've been here many times. Service always excellent & clearly a close & well knit team. We arrived with two pugs. Told we'd have to eat in the bar. Not a problem. I had a minor sense of humour failure when there was no vegetarian option on the carvery but this was quickly rectified backstage. A delicious mushroom & cheese pie was served very soon. Not sure what a vegan would eat? The veg & potatoes were beautifully cooked. My husband would like to raise that whoever provides your ham....it's tasteless! Choose local pigs? He eats regularly with you as part of the Thurs 'Old Gits Club'.  Same complaint! The garden was nice outside for dogs & kids. Excellent toilets & parking. 

Sunday lunch was delicious! Carvery style, grab your own, the serve between 12 and 2pm and its top notch and great value! 
I've eaten her a few times recently. From a group of 18 on a week night, to three of us on a weekdays lunch, and NEVER been disappointed.
Top notch food. And lovely staff every time.

Sunday carvery is amazing! What a lovely pub great staff and amazing food! Had the baileys cheesecake after and was to die for. There’s an open fire going that you can sit around to warm up before you go for lunch or have a drink after 

We have been looking for a good pub with good food for a while now after our local village pub closed, called in here on the way back from Hereford and have now been for food on several occasions and have not been disappointed with anymeal we've had. A good selection of traditional pub food aswell as a specials board gives plenty to choose from. The portions are a good size, I have struggled to eat 3 courses, and are well cooked and presented. I think they do a carvery for lunch on a Sunday but have not tried that yet.
The staff are very friendly and the place has a good friendly atmosphere.
There is a good selection of beers on tap so should be something to suit all tastes. 
Needless to say we are back again  next week.

you couldn't get better the was excellent we all enjoyed all different  type of food all told we it was brilliant ,it was a for Joys birthday teat .all six of us and it was my first time been in this inn and I would reckon meaning  to go there. the meals are good and hot. we have decided are going back for the two of us which  are Birthdays  are next each of us it was nice to meet up in good atmosphere .the staff are very friendly and helpful. The car park is OK for disabled . The beer is very good and good selection . they do B and B if you looking a place to stay, you would be between Hereford and Worcester. it would be a good stop off 


Stayed one night while visiting two lots of friends in the area and we were not disappointed. What a lovely place. The welcome, the fab food, the friendliness, cleanliness and comfort were outstanding. We have never been made so welcome in a pub/b&b before. We were invited to watch the World Cup England game with the hosts and some locals and it was apparent that the staff were very well thought of by all. Such a lovely atmosphere. The food is very well priced, delicious, a great selection and their Sunday carvery looked amazing. I would recommend booking a table.  The bed and pillows were cosy and comfortable and we had a great nights sleep. Will definitely return.

So lucky to have this brilliant pub as our local. Food and drinks are always good.  Great atmosphere, great service and amazing value for money.  It’s dog and children friendly too with lots of room to park. 


We called in for Lunch and although the bar was fairly empty we were greeted by a warm smile, The barman was extremely kind and helpful, and the food was excellent in both value and quality, generous portions and excellent beer !!  An Absolute must if you this way. Thankyou.

Amazing hotel. Been There was co cock up with our booking and they did everything to make sure we could still stay. Fantastically friendly staff and amazing food in a country pub atmosphere. Would highly recommend

Outstanding and not to be missed.

If you're in the area don't this gem!
We have been to the Wheat Sheaf three times and we aren't local - we just have to visit every time we are in the area. The first time we came, we had the burgers and chips and they were that good we knew we had to come back. We've now tried more from the menu and can't believe how delicious and well cooked all the food is. Props to the brilliant chef! 
Even better is the fact that this pub isn't trying to be anything it's not and won't charge you ridiculous amounts for fantastic food.  
This is the pub food you want but can never seem to get!
Thanks to all the staff for the great service too. We also love the beer garden and particularly the cute ponies who pop their head over the fence.
We will be back to try more from the menu. :)

Real quality food!

Stayed here for 3 nights.  Nice spacy room with en suite and a comfy bed.
Breakfast is huge and you don't need much for lunch once you have had that.
Evening meals are good value and a decent selection of beers. 
Julie and Lesley are very welcoming, as are the rest of the staff,  and they make sure your stay is a good one. 

A friendly, welcoming pub.

My third visit to The Wheatsheaf Inn, Fromes Hill and I feel as welcomed as always. Roaring fire, great service & food. But the best yet, they cater for so many allergies, my Mum is gluten free & I am milk free & they just go the extra mile to make our dining out experience so great, nothing is a problem. I highly recommend The Wheatsheaf Inn, Fromes Hill for its outstanding hospitality, great food, very reasonable prices & superb service.

Most excellent, absolutely fabulous

We were staying in the area for 4 nights and ate here on 2 occasions, as we just had to return! This is some of the best pub food we have ever had, from certainly the most extensive menu. Everything was perfectly cooked and served piping hot. We also need to mention the first rate, friendly service. Absolutely nothing was too much bother!
