Lovely hotel, great room & amazing breakfast

Stayed for a couple of nights with my other half for weekend away. Was the perfect stay for us. Comfy room with everything we needed. Staff were all very friendly. Ate dinner there friday night and food was very good. Breakfast was great too. Woodstock itself is the perfect size for a relaxed weekend. Lots of nice cafes, restaurants and walks. Very much enjoyed our stay.

We had a lovely stay, couldn't fault it in any way. Thanks especially to all the staff, made our stay very welcoming. A specially thanks to Adrian.

Friendly welcoming staff on arrival.Room was spotlessly clean.There were lots of added touches kettle and coffee machine in the room, shampoo, shower gel and moisturiser in the bathroom, TV and free WiFi. Very comfortable bed and great nights sleep.Fantastic breakfast in the morning - great continental selection and really enjoyed cooked food.

Absolutely beautiful venue - really enjoyed the bar, the stay and the breakfast. The King’s Arms felt very festive as well.

Great place to stay as always, this is my ‘go to’ when visiting Woodstock.  Staff are always friendly and attentive.  Very welcoming.

Lovely weekend away

We stayed here the night before our visit to Blenheim Palace.  It is a cute, historic inn.  The rooms are tiny, but we expected that.  The bed was pretty comfortable.  Our biggest complaint was the temp in the room was very warm even though it was chilly outside - the window only opened about one inch, so we couldn't get any air in the room.  However, they did provide a fan, so that helped some.  We didn't try the restaurant (we got there too late for dinner on Sunday night and ate breakfast elsewhere), so I can't provide any insight on that.  Parking was not easy, but that was partly because there was a three-day street fair happening in Woodstock, so the roads into town were all closed down and parking was limited to areas outside of the main part of town.  We were able to walk to Blenheim the next day and it was a gorgeous walk - we went in the back entrance from the town of Woodstock and got to see that view, then we left from the main entrance and saw that view too.  I recommend this hotel if you're looking for a reasonably-priced room near Blenheim.

Woodstock is a great town. Kings arms amazing location.  It wasn’t a bad stay , but lacked in quite a few areas.  Clean , good shower. Noisy room despite double glazing, lots of traffic noise. Creaky bed.Seemed to be very few staff?! , chef created a nice breakfast but must have stayed on side waiting to be brought out , all cold, poached eggs went hard, 15 mins wait for coffee?

Really nice looking hotel but tba it’s right on the road that runs through the village, so it’s noisy late and early.  Didn’t eat there but the breakfast was nothing of note.  The rooms are lovely with space and bathroom great also.  With options I wouldn’t stay there again however.  Village has lots of options where to eat.

We spent just a night here whilst we enjoyed a concert at Blenheim Palace.  It was a great choice, clean and friendly and wonderfully close to the Palace - we could walk to the gig and back.  There was much to like about the Pub but the cost for the room was high.  That and the fact the bed was rather hard were the only negatives we experienced and we would stay there again. Breakfast was great.

Lovely Pub/Inn in the heart of Woodstock

The bedroom was well equipped with everything that you might need. Comfortable bed and excellent facilities for making drinks in the room, the bathroom was equipped with quality products for showering and hand washing . Breakfast was  superb with a wide choice of options. I extended my stay by a further night and dined in the restaurant. Taste and presentation complimented each other, the bar offers an extensive range of wines. beers, spirits  drinks to please everyone.  I will definitely be staying there again in the future. Highly recommend it.

Lovely spacious room. The ensuite shower room provided luxurious toiletries and lovely big fluffy towels. The coffee maker was a nice touch but there were no instructions. Tried to use it but couldn't work it, but the coffee bags were delicious as were the complimentary chocolates. Parking was a bit of an issue. Was told beforehand that parking permits would be provided at a cost of £10 per day but on arrival no permits were available. Parked in the public car park about 5 minutes walk from the hotel. Breakfast was good, although both the food  and drink could have hotter.

A very pleasant stay

Great place to stay in Woodstock.  Breakfast is good and being in a pub is great!  Our room was a good size and very well equipped.  The staff are particularly friendly and helpful. Note that the A44 runs past the property, but they supply each room with a high grade fan, so you don't need windows open if (like us) you're not used to road noise. They also supply (at a cost) parking permits as parking in Woodstock can be complicated.

The kings arms is a very quaint adorable place to stay. We were welcomed very warmly by lewis, and we enjoyed our room that was very comfortable and the coffee, tea and chocolates in the room was very nice. Breakfast in the morning was absolutely delicious!!!! The only thing we didn't like was the parking situation. We moved car a few times to avoid any tickets. So that's a bit of a pain. The toilet could of used a proper cleaning. Other then that it was lovely
