Coed-Y-Glyn Log Cabins

If I could give more stars I definitely would! We've just got back from a perfect weeknd away at the Brook Lodge with our family for my husbands birthday. I can't praise it enough. The lodge is absolutely beautiful, spotless, well designed and set out with all amenities and then some. It's cosy and homely, with lovely personal touches like a personal welcome note and bottle of prosecco on arrival and a vase of fresh daffodils. The location is idyllic, with nothing but the river and birdsong (perfect!). The hot tub is of course a luxurious bonus and is private once the lid is opened. The train station where the heritage train into Llangollen can be caught is walkable. We were blessed with nice weather but I would imagine it would be perfect no matter what mother nature threw at us. We're already planning on returning as soon as possible. We didn't book any activities but my daughter has her eye on the white water rafting for next time. Thank you Coed-y-Glyn for a perfect weekend.
