Wide selection of food. All types of cuisine catered for. Special thanks to our waiters Ravi and Anuj were excellent. Very courteous and polite and looked after us very well.  Always had a smile on their faces. 5 stars to them.

The hotel is in an excellent position right in the exciting Ximen area of taipei.Getting to the hotel was easy,I took the airport bus $135tw (about $4.50) to Taipei Main Station then free shuttle bus to Ximen train station (free) The hotel is less than 10 minutes walk.
there is no reception so you must ring the number and staff will meet you shortly(after 5 pm)
the room is tiny but has wifi,kettle,fridge,a/c, and cable tv.There is also a washing machine in the hallway to use free.
The bed is large and comfortable but the wardrobe is a bit hard to use because the desk prevents opening the drawers properly.There is no room for lots of luggage but I was fine because solo.
You are given a key to the outside door as well as one for your room.On departure you just leave the key on the desk.
I booked through booking.com as the other site I usually use(agoda) had no availability.The rate was around 240$aus for 7 nights so was quite cheap considering the good location.
There are heaps of food places and almost every type of shop within a short walk.I walked to a department store which also had a supermarket.I asked directions at the information desk in Ximen station.The staff there were very helpful and spoke english.They gave me heaps of maps.

good location at low price

I stayed there for one night in March 2013 and found the place very basic. The room was windowless with very little fresh air supply, had wireless and was clean. There were just hand towels in the bathroom. 
The location is ok and one can reach the main station easily by food or take the subway near by.
