This hotel is cheap (compared to other places in Switz.), the rooms were small and simple - bed, bathroom, desk, chair. Bed was the harder type you find in Italy sometimes. All white made the room look larger, and the best thing was the balcony. Ours overlooked greenery and was on a hillside, actually at the base of Monte Verita. It was lovely outside, quiet, had birds singing, and a few blocks from Lake Maggiore. From there we saw Hotel Tobler up on the hill, and walked up till we found it and enjoyed the magnificent view from the dining room. Breakfast was included and was adequate - meats, yogurt, bread, cereal etc.
