Leo made our experience very nice, recommended nice places to see, good local restaurants.
Rooms are nice and there's hot water!

We stayed 2 nights there and even if the price was above our budget (we've been traveling for more than 1 year), we had a great stay there. Danu was very helpful with all our questions and helped us to plan our stay and our trip. Him and his colleague even organized a little party with local food and alcohol ! I would definitely recommend this place which is only 10 minutes from the city center by walk. It's a very QUIET and calm place, rooms are clean and there is a little garden with local fruits that we had the chance to taste. Thanks Danu!

The property is breathtakingly beautiful (English style) in a breathtakingly beautiful Nuwara Eliya. We had 1 room in a 3 room cottage within the premises which had a common area and a lovely operational fireplace! The overall experience wasn't very good because of: 1. The room is extremely cold and you wont get warm until you snuggle into your quilt! 2. Reception is further down (quite a distance from the cottage) so one will have to brave the cold if one needs anything (we didn't try!!), an intercom would have helped 3. Breakfast area looked more like a garage!! 4. Actually there is a garage in the premises and we could hear that irritating sound for most of the night. 5. No toiletries. Improvements could definitely make this place much better!

How much we enjoyed relaxing in the cosy green garden. 
I think this is what we enjoyed the most during our 7! days stay (ill husband) in club trout. Wonderful to pick some fruits, fresh from the trees there.
But, of course you can make nice trips. The owners and caretaker are happy to inform you.

As an older couple, (60+) we were treated very kind and respectful by the family owners.  The young man Danu, who works for  them was very sweet, polite  and very willing to help. However, you must ask him for the things you want to.  Like making a fire at night.

(Because we were there such a long time, i asked to visit Danu's parents, who are  older and  dad ill,  living in a small village a few km away. They live in a mini place of maybe 10m2, divided in 2 small rooms. They were superfriendly and delighted with our present:  a bag full of rice, sugar, tea, dahl etc. (They have to live from Danu's income of 100€ a month)).

About the room itself: it is basic but the bed was fine and warm, and the shower was the warmest we had in sri lanka untill now, really very hot and a lot of water..

How much we enjoyed relaxing in the garden

Super accueil et réceptionniste au top 

It was nice! 

We booked to stay at Club Trout in the first week of June. However, when we arrived at the property - we were told that it was not possible to give us the rooms as there was no electricity for a while. 

The hosts should have called us earlier and told us instead of waiting till we arrived at the property. We were very displeased and we had to start looking for other properties to stay in. Resulted in time and more expenses.
