Our first trip to Jeju and we loved our stay at Backpacker In Jeju. We spent 5 nights there, great location-- in the "living" part of the city, and a lot of buses are leaving from there for nearly all the nice spots of the islands. Washing machine available  FOC (free of charge). Awesome and healthy breakfast .

My best option in Jeju

We took a bus from the airport and stopped opposite city hall.  This backpacker hostel is located in an alley, just off the main road. We had slight difficulty locating it initially and had to ask a local for directions. The room itself was fairly small with mattresses on the floor. It was comfortable and adequate for our needs. Air cond was good. Bathroom / toilet was just outside our room with towels and toiletries provided and heated shower and water pressure was good. There was a washing machine next to the bathroom available for free usage. The free wifi was fast with strong reception. The free breakfast was awesome and healthy. There was homemade wholemeal bread, jam, yogurt and fruit juice. Coffee, tea and drinking water were available. There was also grilled herbal eggs with cinnamon. The owner speaks good English. Location was central for bus transportation and it was easy to move around using public buses.

Nice cozy place and affordable too

I and my wife stayed at this hotel via booking.com from 1-3 July. The hotel has almost no negative points to mention!! We booked by April a double bed room. The owner Changee is an excellent methodical man. He sent to us all the necessary information about the places of Jeju by Bus and how to reach his hotel from Jeju airport. Believe me if you follow his advice, you can travel the entire Jeju island by public bus so convenient and cheaper. On 1st July, we arrived at Jeju airport and then took a east course trip. the trip ended and the driver took us to the Backpackers. It was 6 Pm. we were hungry as we did not have any food during the trip. When we entered the hotel, we were surprised to see that Changee has walled a welcome message outside the gate. He offered food from his refrigerator. 
The room was good. a soft bed on the floor. Bathroom was nice and spacious. Break fast was good. Breakfasts are served in packet from 5:30 Am to 11 Am. they are kept at the reception desk. and you have to find your name on the packet. Nice system.Moreover, the area is superconnected by all sorts of transport..
We were shortage of Korean Won for the second day tour. He offered to assist by giving us 100000 KRW and asked me to give him back after exchanging from the bank whenever we got time. So nice of him.
We had a lot of exchange of local cultural issues. 
Go there. I guarantee you will love staying there.

Home away from Home

The hostel is in central Jeju city and convienient for local buses (including the airport). The surrounding area is busy with plenty of places to eat but this did mean the room was noisy at times

The rooms are basic and small with a small wetroom. The room was clean but there is no house keeping service. A simple self service breakfast is included. Good value at just over 40000won/night

Decent value for money but nothing special

I really love this place. Very good location, friendly staff, homemade breakfast, clean bed, nice people, good connection to the airport. Not to mention the price which is amazing. Highly recommended :) :) :) 

Really nice! 

It was our first guesthouse and we were very happy! The room was small enough for two people but clean. We didn't have breakfast on site but in the evening the living room for tea and chatting with other travelers was very pleasant. The staff were extremely kind: we got the wrong address and arrived at the other end of the island at 11:00 p.m. and the owner of the guesthouse came to pick us up!

It was a good experience.

The hostel is located 2 meters from the main street of Jeju City. The neighborhood is full of everything: restaurants, cheap Korean food, 7/11, bakeries... The hosts of the hostel are sweet people, always interested in our affairs. The hostess served freshly cooked breakfast, told how to get to a place or another, the English language was at their level. The room was cozy, a two-seater bed, a toilet inside, the wifi was flying. P.S. The owners were so kind that they washed our things and then dried them, and then again forgiven and dried (due to the power they first smelled unpleasantly).

A fancy hostel right in the middle.

The rooms are very simple, but there's everything you need if you're planning on mostly just washing and sleeping in this place instead of sitting all day. We traveled with my husband together, we had a double bed, air conditioning, i-pad, fan, a couple of other obscure things in the room. The rooms have our own bathroom. There's no bathroom, but there's enough. We have shampoo, soap, toothpaste, and toothpaste.

Great place, good people.

I really liked the place. It's in the center of life. The island itself is big, but it's full of cafes and shops, it's close to the bus stops. The hostess was very kind. Breakfast was included. Food could be taken until 11 in the morning from the fridge, but even at night she offered to have a snack, baked bread herself and served them. We washed the clothes for free and hung them where the sheets dried.

It's a very nice place.

As we toured the island, we got to know many different guesthouses. None of them were really bad, but this was by far the best. These basic needs are all covered by the existing equipment (air conditioning, heating, ventilator, WIFI, laundry facilities, etc.). It is worth noting that there was an iPad available in the room, which saved us the way to the also accessible PC in the lobby. However, the service and the friendliness of the staff are outstanding. Since we arrived very late, we were told that the need for this would have been a discounted meal. The next morning we had a little breakfast to eat.
