We had booked a non-cancellable room here and had already paid for it. Five days before the trip, the hotel contacted us and informed us that due to an alleged technical problem they had to close the hotel (for the weekend). In our subsequent booked replacement hotel, we were the only guests  we can only guess whether there were actually technical problems or whether we were cancelled for lack of other guests. Also, the request that we should cancel the room ourselves did not seem serious  since we would have had the responsibility and proof obligation (for the purpose of refunding the amount already paid) in case of the hotel. Here, contact booking.com is very commendable: return, delivery, booking, etc.

Very nice people that welcome us, the pool was great, the rooms had AC, the location îs basically at the seaside and You will not find a lot of This kind of facilities, i mean IT s a 2 minute walk and You enter the see. Amazing. It s the 3rd time in a row and i will not go anywhere else next summer.

This September I went to Vama Veche for the first time.The beaches are not crowded and the restaurants are still open.Sara is the best option if you want to be, literally, two steps from the sea.Our room had sea views and was very bright in the mornings.In addition, it is pet friendly and the extra fee is 45 lei.I recommend it 100% to foreigners who want a good experience in Vama Veche.

great views, large clean room.  Good friendly service.close to beach and restaurants.  Nice clean pool.

Only bad thing was lack of light in bathroom and small TV, but not a major issue

Staff is rude and very unprofessional. Frongs were in the swimming pool, had to remove them personally. Rooms are dirty and moldy, bedsheets are small. Just awful. Do not recommend for anyone. dining area is dirty as well. Photos speek for themselves.

Awful experience

This place is far too expensive for what is offering. The breakfast is poor, they didn t changed our towels and there are no mosquitoes net at the window, so we got a lot of mosquitoe bites. Children would be happy here, because there is a pool and the water was clean. Another plus point is that rooms have air conditioning.

Accommodation in vama veche

My wife and I we have spent one week at  Pensiune Sara and we had a blast. Very clean location the staff very helpful and friendly, breakfast fresh and tasty .The location is very close to the beach .We can't wait for the next summer to go back .Sara see you soon.

Very nice

A person almost died here because the fence fell over her. Lucky there was a car parked by the fence and it didn't crush the person.
The staff is rude, vulgar and uncaring.
In pictures everything looks good, but when you get to the hotel, the room and pool are terrible. The price was higher than it was written on booking.

Awful

We went on a short holiday. The rooms are clean, the stuff very friendly, the breakfast is fresh made and enough. The location is close to the beach and the music is very loud -during the weekend- so if you plan to go and sleep it's not a good choice. 

Nice holiday

Second time in Vama Veche, a lot has been done in 10 years, but the feeling is not lost! then as a wild camper now in the Hotel Sara: has a very good price-performance ratio, rich breakfast, top location, beautiful views, relaxed family atmosphere, hardworking staff. We are happy to come back... fish restaurant Cherhana is definitely to visit!
