Went only to the restaurant. Nice view, but terrible food. Felt sick after eating some chicken. I think the oil was reused many times as the food was very greasy and rancid. It ruined my stay in Busteni, as I spent the next 2 days feeling quite sick.

Bad experience

I called him 1 day before for 2 rooms! 1 hour before arrival we called him again he confirmed our reservation. When we arrived someone came to take us to another place and that guy asked us for more money. Is not first time when he is doing like that! My advise for everybody who want’s to make reservation here, DON’T! There are a lot of other better places!

Unbelievable!

Casa Andutu only accepts cash payments in them spot. We arrived early in the morning parked across the street and announced them.
The room was still occupied so we agreed to come back in the evening, the gentleman confirmed by phone there will be no problem with this. We only spoke by phone because the pension was locked, with no external access.
However, around 7 in the evening when we announced that we will arrive later, the lady told us she gave ALL the rooms and that it is not her problem what we agreed in the morning shift. THEN SHE DIDN'T ANSWER ANY OTHER OF OUR CALLS.
When contacting the same number from another phone, the gentleman answered and explained that there is no reception 24 hours and we should have arrived the latest at 5 pm because now, there is nobody to unlock the pension for us!!!!
SO, THEY CANCELLED OUR RESERVATION WITHOUT EVEN ANNOUNCING US AND NOTHING COULD BE DONE ABOUT IT!
He said will recommend another pension to stay but in fact, it was a private home not a regular pension.

Disappointing

I read some previous reviews and, to avoid surprises, i called the owner/manager three times on the day of arrival: early in the morning (before 8:30), around 3pm, and at 6 pm. I had informed him that I knew check in time was 3pm, but i was unable to make it, so, if there was a problem, he could let me know, and i would find another solution for accommodation. He assured me there was no problem, and he was going to keep the rooms. We were a family of 5, with one child and a senior (80 years old). Well, we arrived around 7:30 to be told by the neighbour that we were not expected, and there are no rooms for us. 

Dishonest host

I only went to the restaurant, I was not accommodated. Me and all my friends said they give 10 out of 5 stars. 😆 I paid for 300g of food and received around 400 for the same price.

I really recommend the food.

Food review

it was good... but had some bad parts..
smelled like kitchen a lot because of the restaurant near...
nice room... some bad electricity outlets...
TV with cable.. some rooms have a good view...
price/quality is correct but the price goes towards expensive with the prices in the area.

not bad... not good...

We arrived with no reservation after long hours in car, looking for a room to sleep and then drive again. So we did not expected too much, just a clean bed and bathroom. in this aspection we can't claim anything. the woman at the reception could give for 4 of us a room with a double bed and a sofa bed. Our bed were comfortable, the children had not as good as it could be, but for one night it was OK. the bathroom could have a squeegee to pull the water to the drain, oherwise the floor is in a bath of water, hard to get to the toilet with dry feet.
it was not possible to pay with bank-card, we had a luck, that we had enough cash. unfortunately the restaurant, what was advised by the owners, were also not able to accept card.
by the way, we had a good dinner in another place.
we had to leave in the morning, so we could not go by the cablecabin up to the hill, but the view in this beautiful village is stunning.

it was not more than we expected

The rooms are very dirty. The owner was very disrespectful. The housekeeping lady is also disrespectful. Zero hospitality. They don't allow you to have visitors. We invited some friends to have dinner with us, an the owner came and told them TO GET OUT OF HIS PROPERTY if they don't have a room. It was so embarrasing.
I will never go there again!!!


Worst accommodation in Busteni !!! 

We came as a couple because someone close to me had suggested this pension. I called in the morning to book a room for the afternoon and the boss clearly told me that he doesn't trust people to book it... so if he found other customers, he could have accommodated them, out of greed for money and not promise us anything as accommodation for the evening. On the phone he told me the rate of 60 lei... And when we arrived I learned that it was 60 lei per person per night... which made a rate of 120 lei per night for none of this! The bathroom is not terrible, the shower is very bad... I strongly recommend this place, because it is not worth a three-star fare!
