Akisol Olhos de Água Ocean

Just got back after spending a lovely 5 night break at these apartments. Apartments are spacious and spotlessly clean and small garden area leading to pool is pretty and well maintained. Nice pool which gets deep fairly quickly so might not be suitable for very small children. 2 of the ground floor apartments opened straight out onto pool area so occupants of these apartments tended to claim these sun beds as their own . This was understandable though as otherwise there would have been no privacy in these apartments. Other sun beds were available. I stayed in ground floor apartment 3 this time but if coming back would choose one of the upper apartments which each have their own private roof terrace. When I was there 7 out of the 8 apartments were occupied but despite this the complex was very quiet and peaceful so perfect for a relaxing break. The complex also has a gate which you needed to use a code to get in so it felt very safe and I was comfortable to leave patio doors open while I was at the pool. The beds in the apartment were quite firm but comfortable and generally it was well furnished and had all of the essentials you need. Free wifi also available. The complex is literally 2 mins from the nearest supermarket and a nice beach only a few minutes walk away. The resort is fairly small but with a decent selection of restaurants. I did not see any rowdy, noisy bars so this resort is certainly not party central. If you are looking for nightlife & clubs then perhaps this is not the place for you. I would suggest this resort is best suited to families, or older couples or groups of friends who simply want to relax. I would definitely recommend these apartments.
