I've stayed overnight because of a cancelled flight and you were very kind, despite the time I was contacting you (it was almost 1:00 in the morning).

Oh, that's great.

I really liked it, especially the location. The Pousada has a nice view and it's 5 to 10 minutes from the airport. And from a gas station, too. From the inn you can see to the airport runway. It's all very simple but comfortable. I was also surprised to see the carpet on the floor of the room. And I was also surprised that I didn't have a refrigerator or food distributor. But the reception is nice and gentle. It has parking and Wi-Fi. A good stay.

An Inn on the Island

The place wouldn't be bad, but it's hard to find (especially at night). When you finally find it, you'll discover that it's had better days: the room is poorly furnished and smells bad, the bathroom is not mentioned, the mattress is (old) soft, breakfast is bread, butter, jam and go.

Its a pretty basic but clean B&B.
Host is super friendlly 
Free car park and wifi available in room and facilities.
Breakfast was basic but nice.
You need a car to stay here as transports doesnt seam to run very often.
Wonderfull and big wine cellar full of great portuguese wines.
Fokd at the restaurant is in a good price and really tasty, you can tell its home made.
Its not a luxurious modern place but its cosy, clean and friendly.
Its close to the airport, machico and st cruz.
Transfer to the airport is available for a small fee.
Had a great christmas and new years and will be back.

Great place, excellent views amazing food

I came here when my flight was cancelled after an amazing time in Madeira. The room was filthy it had stains all over the bed the shower had never been cleaned and the toilet was disgusting. If you ever get stranded in Madeira and there are no hotels left except here I recommend you stay at the airport. And I wouldn't even think about choosing it as a main hotel to stay on this gorgeous island.

Nice attendance from the staff, well located 5 minutes from the wooden airport and 20 minutes from the car funnel center. the room had a little mosquitoes, a little cold and unpleasant pillows. otherwise if it wasn't for these two negative points we would be back again

Sleeping

The manager and his son are very helpful and kind. He built his hotel about 30 years ago. The rooms are simple, the price is very attractive, 36th. We had dinner at the restaurant. The dishes are plentiful, good and cheap. Wine cellar, glass and bottle services. We had a flight the next morning, convenient.

Well located, welcome

We had booked this hotel for our last night in Madeira (airplane the next morning). We stayed there for two nights (airplane delayed due to the wind). We had a room with balcony and sea view and garden. The rooms and bathrooms need a little refurbishment, of course! The smell lifts would also be manageable... We ate at the restaurant the two nights (terrasse with sea view). Very well, plenty and very good. Lunch with coffee or tea, orange juice, bread, ham, cheese, broth, fruit. Very pleasant, friendly and arranged staff.

Ideal for flying or arriving late

It's a good option to spend a night if you have an early morning flight or arrive late at Madeira airport. It's an old hotel with old furniture, stains in the carpet, bad smells, and full of mosquitoes outside. It definitely needs a renovation and maintenance work.

On the other hand, it's very conveniently located close to the airport and offers free parking. So, considering it costs €40, it's OK for a night.

OK for a night

Booked with Booking.com, no room at our arrival (overbooking) the boss offers me another hotel and asks me to pay back while I had already paid through the website, he explains to me while he doesn't know where the money from Booking.com goes, I think naively, excuse me for being upset and pay back.. 5 call to booking.com customer service and more than a month later still no refund!! Go your way!
