It's a really small place, tucked away in the forest on a dirt road, but still only 10 minutes drive to Siquijor town or San Juan (which is good because they don't do dinner, only breakfast). The rooms are basic but big and clean with comfy beds. Mobile signal is very weak but the wifi mostly works. But the owners Renee and Jennifer and their friendly and helpful staff are the resort's best feature. Nothing is too much trouble. Breakfast is freshly made to order with generous portions, and the gardens and pool are wonderful. You'll probably find the owner's 4 rescue dogs sitting next to you with wistful expressions while you eat breakfast. By my third visit they had progressed to resting their heads on my knee and gazing up at me in the hope of some egg or bacon, but they're very well behaved and we always look forward to seeing them. I always leave more relaxed than when I arrived.
