Microtel Puerto Princesa never disappoints. Friendly and accommodating staff, tranquil ambiance (best i ever had), good food & perfect pool and beach experience. Thank you Microtel for making my birthday memorable and worthwhile. We’ll be back soon.

We recently stayed at Microtel Puerto Princesa and had a pleasant experience. The staff were friendly and accommodating, making our check-in and check-out processes smooth. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable, with all the necessary amenities. We especially enjoyed the view, pool, and breakfast.

While the location is convenient, it might be a bit far from some attractions. However, the hotel offers transportation services that can help you get around. Overall, we would recommend Microtel Puerto Princesa for a comfortable and relaxing stay in Puerto Princesa. 👍❤️

You can’t beat the view of this hotel! Not many hotels in Puerto Princesa are beach front. The front desk staff helped us book the underground river tour and zipline excursion! These ended up being one of the highlights of our entire Philippines trip. There was a friendly tricycle driver named Daniel who was conveniently parked outside the hotel and took us everywhere we wanted for our entire stay. This hotel is also super close to the best place to shop for pearls! Don’t forget to stop by the on-site gift shop located outside between the lobby and the dining room where breakfast is served. Super friendly shop owner and we picked up some unique items to take home with us.

I definitely recommend this place if you’re looking for a great place to stay in Puerto Princessa. Definitely worth the price, clean rooms and accommodating staff. I will stay here again if I am back in Palawan.

Hotel has a very nice ambiance, calm and serene. Everyone is nice, helpful and makes you feel welcome, special mention to Alma of frontdesk who has been very accommodating during our stay. She's an ace of the hotel. Would definitely recommend this to colleagues that will travel to Puerto Princesa.

Microtel by Wyndham in Puerto Princesa City, Palawan, has a relaxing ambience.  Reflecting the color of the sea, it has a blue-and-white motif. Another plus is its bucolic setting, which makes it a perfect place to be away from it all.

The Wyndham is located at the perfect spot. The beach is pristine and quiet and removed from the general traffic. You get the feel of an exclusive island, but are still located relatively close to everything. The ideal place for a romantic getaway or a relaxing escape. 

Amazing hotel for an affordable price. The staff is always there to help you, the beach is just around the corner and everything looks super neat. The restaurant serves delicious and authentic Filipino food.

This is our first time in Puerto Princesa, the staff are nice and accommodating. We stayed in Microtel for 4 nights, their free transportation from Airport to Hotel and vice versa is helpful since we arrived at Puerto Princesa at night. Overall, we enjoyed our stay in this hotel. 

We stayed in this hotel for two nights during our trip to the Philippines. It has been by far the best hotel we stayed. It has everything that we needed including swimming pool, restaurant, and a very secluded beach. We were pretty much the only one in the beach during the day. We rented a kayak and snorkeled the whole day. We saw all kinds of sea life, from exotic fish to jellyfish. This is a hidden gem in Puerto Princesa. The staff has been fantastic. They arraigned everything for us, from shuttle service to El Nido, underground river tours and airport shuttle pickups. The only regrets is we only stayed for two days, we could have easily stayed for a week here. Thank you Microtel and hope to stay here again!

Best place to stay in Puerto Princesa

Room was just ok. 

What struck me most was that their staff were very accommodating and friendly. I lost a piece of my earring and reported it immediately to one of their staff. Just a few minutes passed, and alas! they already found it in the pool. Kudos to the helpful staff ☺️ You are very much appreciated!

Puerto Princesa’s Best Kept Secret

Our plane was delayed getting in so it was too late for the Hotel pick up. We were able to still contact the staff and they advised us how to get from the airport to the Hotel. Arrived at the Hotel at 01:30 and staff were there to greet us and settle us in. It is in a quiet beach location but close enough to town to still be picked up for the tours the staff helped arrange. We stayed for a week which was a good time to relax and still see the local sights. Island hopping is a must. We found the food too sweet but I think it's like that in most places in The Philippines.
