The entire property was gorgeous. The view of the beach from our patio was awesome, and it was a short walk down the property to the beach. The bungalow was very roomy, adequately equipped with everything we needed to cook meals. Every morning we were brought breakfast which included fresh fruit, freshly made fruit juice, rolls, and hot water for coffee. Kevin, an American who manages the property, was extremely helpful in helping us with transportation to getting a bus to our next destination in Ecuador. The staff was excellent, especially Eddie and Anna, who, although they spoke only Spanish, were totally enjoyable in helping us. We cannot reccomond the Punta Cocos Beach Suites enough!

Great place to stay, a totally positive experience.

Punta Cocos Beach Suites was my home from January 9 to April 7, 2015.
     If walking along the beach, reading, and relaxing are your passions, you may find this place attractive.  Located several miles outside the village of Zorritos, the suites are perched on a concrete terrace, with an extensive arbor of colorful bougainvillea, overlooking the Pacific Ocean.  You can walk along the beach to the market for fruits and vegetables, shop at a small grocery store, or perhaps dine at a local restaurant.  Zorritos has an abundance of motor taxis that will take you and your purchases back to the apartment complex for about three Nuevo soles ($1.00).  The complex is gated and secure.
     Kevin, the manager, drove me into Zorritos the day after my arrival to do initial grocery shopping, which was very much appreciated since drinking water also has to be purchased and carried.  Kevin delivers drinking water for a small fee.  
     The first floor of the apartment is spacious.  It offers a small basic kitchen with a few cooking utensils and dishes, a large table with six chairs (no padding), a large futon with matching lounge chair and a small TV. (Photos attached.  There is a toilet room and shower on this floor.  The upper level only is air conditioned, with the master bedroom offering a nice balcony overlooking the terrace and the ocean -- beautiful sunsets.   (Photos attached).  The second bedroom does not have an ocean view; the window faces the adjoining apartment.  There is a bathtub with shower and separate toilet room upstairs, with an additional sink in the hallway, and also a modern washing machine.
     There is a pool on the lower terrace (without a single chaise lounge for sunning).  The rustic furniture provided is extremely uncomfortable.  (Photo attached)
     It would have been helpful if written information in regard to sightseeing, taxi service, or bus service in the area had been available.  Kevin, the manager, offers transportation at his convenience for a fee.  I took advantage of this and spent two weeks in Cuenca, Ecuador.
     I was not pleased with the initial cleanliness of the unit.  Arriving late in the evening, I was dismayed to find filthy toilet seats.  The following day, upon further examination, I requested cleaning of the unit, which was provided.  However, the expansive windows remained coated with dirt during my three-month stay.  There was no mattress cover on the bed in the master bedroom and the pillows were stained with perspiration.  At the first opportunity, I purchased a mattress cover, a new bed pillow and pillows for the couch, all of which I left behind for future renters.
     There are two very noisy overly friendly dogs on the property.
    This is not your typical comfortable B&B -- it is more akin to a campground facility and a good place for the adventuresome.

Secluded Property

The establishment is comfortable, rooms, living room, large kitchen and good material. Comfortable beds, good mattresses, plenty of hot water. The pool is small, in my stay in February I found that it was very little seated, full of dead insects and only works during the day, at night nothing happens. The access to the beach is regular, a person with mobility problems, like an elderly person, will not be able to reach the beach safely. The lack of infrastructure and many terminations. The access is very simple, from the road next door. Good, stable and fast Wi-Fi.

Comodo but also Iceland

If you want a house on the beach in an exotic locale, Punta Cocos Beach Suites it is. The service is awesome, the house is spacious and clean. Go play on the pretty much private beach. Relax or swim in the pool or in the ocean, they're both warm.

super cool

Quiet beautiful spot with view of the sea. 
Each bungalow has 2 floors.  Kitchen is simple but functional, dining room+living room with TV, bedrooms with A/C. There is ping pong table and other games for kids.
The beach is right in front and there is also a nice size swimming pool. The weather is amazing.
The resort is sandwiched between the village of Zorritos and the town of Tumbes. Both are easy of access if you hitch a ride for a small price. 
Kevin and his staff are professional and take care of any issue or requests immediately.
The only negative thing is the 2 dogs who always want to be played with. 
We loved it :-)

Real Vacation Spot

Excellent Comfort, Excellent Equipment, Excellent Views, Excellent Common Facilities, Excellent Hotel Beaches, Very Good Hotel Access, Very Good Sea Temperature, Excellent Beach Environment, Very Good Sound, Extensive, Bright, Very Comfortable, Very Good Mattresses, Very Good Equipment, With Refrigerator, Kitchen, Liquidator, Microwave, Sillons, TV, Hammocks, Exterior Tender, Washing Machine, Tools, etc. I'm thrilled and if I'm sure of anything, I would return as soon as possible with friends and families, to enjoy what is called a real more relaxing play.

All I needed was a little more personalized treatment.

Last summer we spent a few wonderful days with the family.The most attractive thing is the tranquility you have in being a family-friendly lodging with a wide range of suites with amenities, kitchen, spacious rooms, and away from the hustle and bustle.Kevin is a great person and host, he transferred us from the airport and calmed our hunger with a homemade pizza prepared by him.I hope to return and everything will be the same.Congratulations to Kevin and all his team, they made us feel at home.

Tranquility on the sea front.

I stayed in this hotel this week and I enjoyed it very much. Kevin, the manager is an excellent host and I felt at home since the first day. Kevin picked me up at 6am from the bus station, took me to be border and stayed and helped me to get the stamps on my passport.
After that was done I relaxed and enjoyed the delicious pizzas that  they bake in the premises.
All in all I enjoyed the hospitality, cleanliness of the rooms and the beach where I had long walks in the mornings before the sun came out.
I will definitely return to Punta Cocos soon!
