We were made to feel most welcome from the moment we arrived and found a chalkboard at the front door with our names written on and a welcome message. Our hosts in the absence of owners Kees & Ellen, were Crystal and Stefan; they were wonderful, attentive to every detail and Stefan’s mastery at breakfast pancakes was a joy. The room we were allocated had two twin beds, en suite bathroom, two comfortable armchairs, a TV and private balcony overlooking the garden.

The en-suite bathroom was fantastic; a large corner bath with a hand shower attached, twin vanity bowls,a toilet and a fabulous walk in shower with a power shower fitment. The extra’s were such items as monogrammed linens, Bayliss and Harding toiletries in enormous containers, Chanel perfume, CK One aftershave and drawers full of extra towels, lotions and potions! 

The breakfast was extensive to say the least, cereals, granola, yoghurt, a large bowl of fresh fruit salad, hot pancakes, boiled eggs, various cheeses and meats and wonderful fresh bread rolls. This feast was served on daily changing china dinner services and was delightful in its individuality, even the boiled eggs had little sheep cozies. 

In conclusion, don’t hesitate. BOOK NOW!

Fantastic B&B in Dordrecht

What about our first B&B? A very welcoming reception, a very pleasant treatment and details on arrival and during the stay, which made it special. A spacious and tastefully decorated room. The most incredible and unsurpassed was the breakfast, presented and cared for to the last detail and abundant.

It is spectacular!!!!

The room is reached by a steep staircase and is charmingly old-fashioned in the furnishings. The comfortable beds can be divided into two single beds. The interior is cozy, especially the two seats. The bathroom in this old house is greatly decorated and contrasts with the cozy bedroom. There is a corner bath and a very nice shower with massage delicacies. We slept well. The breakfast is very good (quantity and quality, great selection) and is served in the good room. The hosts are classy, very helpful and upfront. The bathroom and surroundings are a great trip. A great old place with harbor and a natural interchange that you can get to every town in Greece, but we also have a restaurant in the city of Monrovia, which is not well served by the wind.

Comfortable nights with great hosts

For our last stop in Holland, my boyfriend and I stayed in this wonderful b&b where we found ourselves very well! The owners are very welcoming and kind! When we arrived we were welcomed with two apple pie pie pie buns! In the morning we were given a super abundant and varied breakfast, with even hot pancakes! After we were accommodated, we went out for a walk with the dog to let us eat in peace! We had the triple room with indoor bathroom: very nice, spacious and clean! It's a shame we were advised to stay for one night! Absolutely clean!

Accommodation in Dordrecht

Staying at Op Ut Hoekie was like staying with family!  I felt warmly welcomed and enjoyed my stay very much.  

B&B is just a short walk from the train station and right next to a lovely park.

Room was very comfortable.  Kees and Ellen were lovely hosts.

Extremely welcoming B&B experience.

The last stage on the Rheinradweg took me through the Netherlands, on the last day of my tour I rode my bike to Dordrecht and stayed overnight at the B & B Op Ut Hoekie. Behind the Dordrechter train station is a well-kept, quiet settlement, and there in the Emmastr. 12 stands the old house with a pretty front door. When I opened the garden door I saw a table where it was written with simple chalk my name, I was welcomed, great welcome! The householder drove up the stairs and even carried my many bicycle tickets up the stairs. The inner room of the house was very quiet, but with a very good breakfast, but I also had a relatively quiet breakfast, but I also had to go to a fairly high price in the city, and I had to go to a nice room, even a nice room, a nice room, and even a nice room, which I had to go to, a nice place, a nice place, a nice place, a nice place, a nice place, a nice place, a nice place, a nice place, a nice place, a nice place,

It's a beautiful dream!

We stayed here overnight on the way to Germany, and we were so impressed that we booked again for a night on the journey home. This is really everything a good B&B should be; a warm welcome, comfortable and well furnished accomodation and a great breakfast. The hosts did everything to help us get the most from our stay- made sure we had a convenient parking spot(parking is on the street), helpful tips about local facilities etc, route planning & friendly conversation. We tried two different rooms and both were spacious, tastefully furnished and decorated with a variety of well chosen and interesting items. The location is very convenient for Dordrecht centre, a 10/15 minute walk to either the old town/harbour area or the more modern centre and market. The B&B does in fact seem to reflect the town- a bit of history, a bit of quirkiness but with laid-back individuality. The only potential downside, not for us but for less mobile guests, would be that the stairs have very narrow treads and wind round to the first floor - go for the ground floor room to avoid this if you need to. Super value for money at 80 euro  or 90 euro for the en suite.
