Great accommodation, literally in Kathmandu, you can go anywhere you want, very accessible. The owner is truly fantastic, and his family is also wonderful people. I almost felt like I was at home. Super satisfied, it's really worth staying here for a few days, what an experience.

I received a warm welcome from the owner has he came to pick me up at the airport on arrival. I felt secure and almost home straight away. I had a private room with private bathroom! It was so comfy, hot shower and peace and quiet in the tumult on Kathmandu. The hotel have a big terrace with plants and flower perfect to relax after a storming walk around the town. In Thamel, so perfect for visit around and walking and getting lost. 

I really felt safe in this hotel even if I was the only customer. The owner took care of me and provide good helpful service. 

I am sad I had to leave in a catastrophic manner due to the covid crisis. Has I just left the mountains I arrive in Kathmandu just to pick up my bags before heading to the airport I couldn’t say goodbye. 

I will come back very soon In Nepal has I really felt home like never in so many country I visit. I am to leave my himalayan dream that I wasn’t able to accomplish this spring. So I will be back, and I will come back in this hotel 100%.

I have been staying at Souvenir on and off since 2005 - and it is one of my very favourite hotels....the location is great first of all, in Thamel but not in the super-busy centre of Thamel - has more of the feel of a Nepali home about it...The family that run Souvenir maintain a perfect balance of friendliness and professionalism and are always ready to help with any arrangements...there is a garden, rooftop, and a restaurant for breakfast and the ambience is super-lovely...They have an unusually accommodating range of rooms to suit every budget and taste.... cannot recommend Souvenir too highly...

lovely guesthouse, at great location. Karki family is very helpfull. Good prizes for the rooms. there is a rooftop with great view. and a beautifull little garden where you can sit. And you can get a nice breakfast. From here you can walk to different historical places. You have different prices for rooms. you can go for budget or some more luxury.

The very friendly and helpful family gives you an unforgettable experience in Kathmandu. In the middle of the city, Thamel, almost all highlights of Kathmandu can be reached by foot. 
If you want to have a guide in Kathmandu, Madan (father of the family) is the perfect person to show you around. Price/Quality is perfect. The family is expanding its building with new rooms.
Go there and experience the real life of Kathmandu, Nepal.

Great Great couple and family , it was clean, quiet for thamel .they made me visit part of kathmandhu i wanted to see but forgot and by that made me live on of the most impressive night of my life thank you so much i will be back

Rooms and Amenities are clean and Spacious. Family vibe with good local advise for any activity you know of and advice for what else is worth exploring when in Kathmandu.
Great place to stay if you want a bit of space in the Hustle and Bustle of the city.
