While there is nothing luxurious about these basic tents the overall experience of being in the Sahara was pretty amazing. The bed was comfortable but it was really cold in the evening and there is not heating.   It is more like camping than glamping with only a hessian sheet separating the bathroom from the bedroom. 

Dinner and breakfast were served in a large cafeteria style room.  The food was good and we were able to get a beer and they happily stored our wine in a wine fridge.  Of course the Sahara is spectacular and from the top of the dunes we had a good view of the dozens of other 'camps' around the area. All in all it was quite an experience.

We spent one night here, taking the camels in to the camp. The staff is kind and very helpful. It is amazing what they have set-up out in the desert. The room was nice and the bed comfortable. However, none of the heaters in the rooms were working and it became very cold at night/early morning. Very disappointing. The food was good. We enjoyed the nighttime fire and dancing.

Good for one night

Sleeping in Sahara is once in a lifetime experience. It was really highlight of our trip in 🇲🇦 . We arrive late to Merzouga ,so we took jeep transport to camp. When we came we were offered tea after which we went on a breathtaking sunset view on Sahara dunes. For dinner, we got authentic tajin after which we enjoyed local entertainers around campfire. In early morning we went on camel ride to watch the sunrise. After breakfast we took quad bikes for return to Merzouga which was also great. 
All in all perfect 💚

Great experience 🇲🇦💚

We were in this beautiful camp for 2 nights in January during a tour of Morocco. The location is unique. At the foot of the dunes. In a few minutes you reach the summits of the nearest ones. In the late afternoon to see the sunset and in the early morning to see the dawn. The night then presents the show of thousands of stars clearly visible to the naked eye. You can do many activities, from dromedary tour to the descent from the dunes with the table, to visiting the nearby oasis. The camp tents are very spacious and clean and in the bathroom, there is warm water at every hour. The staff are very nice, and every evening after dinner they play and dance on the campsite. One thanks to boss Hassan.

From the time we got off the camel, it was welcoming and well organised. Since a lot of meals contain aubergine in these parts (and me being allergic to it), Hassan, the owner himself cooked up a delicious egg tagline to ensure I and family are happy, The rooms, food, service including the night bonfire and music from the hotel staff was amazing. Got up early at 5.30 am for the sunrise and we were not disappointed. All in all - if you are in Merzouga. Stay here…..

Everything was awesome here !

This was certainly the highlight of our Morocco trip. We arrived a bit late from Fes and majority of our group rode camels back to the camp in moonlight and enjoyed it thoroughly. The rest of us made it to camp by 4X4 and we served hot tea on arrival. The tents are quite nice with running hot water, flushing toilets and a shower. It is really “glamping” in the Sahara desert. Dinner was served in the big tent and was delicious. We were then entertained with Berber music by the camp fire. Night was a bit cold but heavy blankets were provided. There are at least 2 USB ports for charging. Next morning, we rode the camels to see the sunrise from the dunes. We then were served breakfast which was yummy. We had an option of riding ATV’s or 4x4’s back to our van, majority of our group opted to ride the ATV’s and had a blast. The staff at this camp are sincere and committed to serving the guests and they made our stay memorable. The night sky is a treat to watch.

Memorable and spectacular stay

The experience at the camp was excellent!  Warm hospitality and we were taken care of all the way.  Camel ride in the afternoon to go to the tent and then we were picked up in the morning in a 4 x 4 to take us back to our pickup point.

One of the most beautiful places I've ever seen in my entire life, amazing and super friendly people, amazing atmosphere and all the staff very attentive to my needs.

The food and accommodation are very tasty and the people are wonderful.Recommended!! Arriving can be a camel ride to camp, dinner, music, a wonderful view of the sky, a camel ride back.
