Jawakara Islands Maldives Resort

Fabulous family holiday on one of the larger islands with loads of stuff for the kids to do. Everything screamed 5* luxury, the accommodation, food, branded drinks, the staff and in particular Zaman our rep were absolutely fantastic. The only downside was the house reef, we had 11 days and could only book the house reef trip twice. Saying, that it didn't matter as compared to other Maldives Islands we have visited the house reef was very poor, just a scattering of SMALL grey coral blocks with a few fish. Golf: Brilliant little pitch and putt in excellent condition with some nice features. Holes between 60yds and 100yds Jet-skis: Amazing, we booked for 90 minutes and couldn't believe how far out we went to look at other lagoons and shark spots (we saw loads of big ones below us) Tennis, Padel and Pickle courts were excellent, for premium all inclusive the court hire is free but the racquets are charged by the hour at $10 so bring your own if you want to save money Gym: Amazing, on a running machine looking out at the Indian ocean. Spa: Had a great 1 hour body massage. Night Fishing: Daughter caught 3, Son caught 1, my wife and I caught nothing....damn kids! Dolphins: Whilst the trip wasn't as good as others i have been on it was still great. They say its 50/50 whether you see dolphins, but we did. So a nice life experience for all. Restaurants: Great selection of pretty much anything you want, very fresh with good quality ingredients. Eating outside on the deck as the sun set was amazing. In general we had a great time and apart from the snorkelling we would whole heartedly recommend this island. However we would recommend booking the trips that you definitely don't want to miss out on before you go on the Jawakara APP. The APP is great and lets you see and book everything you could want.
