Resort - Rehabilitation Center Jaunķemeri

This place is not traditional hotel or spa center, this is place for relaxation and rehabilitation, also after serious deseases. The center offers a variety of programs for different purposes - after stroke treatment, auverda, moving difficulties rehabilitation, relaxation and slimming programms. The building and some rooms are renowated, some room are not recently renovated, but the furniture is new everywhere. The treatment base, the procedures are great, the staff is very attentive. Everything is extremely well organized - on the first day of our arrival they made a schedule for our procedures, so we had managed to get everywhere in time.. We were also offered to stay one night before our programm started free of charge. The food is plenty and cusine is tastes almost like home made. The place is situated aprox. 45 km from Riga in a pine forest. The sea with beautifull beach is about 250m walking distance. all rooms are with big balconies. Most of rooms do not have air con, so in summer it can be hot inside. TVs are in each room, but fridge is available for extra fee. All treatments and excersises are in Latvian and Russian, written information is available in English and german, some staff also speaks foreign languages, so no one feels lack of attention. There are different entertainment programs or cinema almost every evening.
