104 reviewsWell situated (for skiing) in Nozawaonsen, itself famous for its centuries old hot springs, this entirely wooden ryokan is simply marvelous in every respect. From the front desk welcome from Hiroyasu and Kanga to the gentle efficient service from meal servers, we loved every minute. Traditional breakfasts are varied and tasty; the half board option including a magnificent banquet dinner one nite is a must and of course the onsens are a wonderfully refreshing way to begin and end each day. Can’t recommend this hotel highly enough.
