The owner is Japanese but speaks English as I've heard that he and his wife have been pro-snowboarders in Canada and now they enjoy bicycle race there. Accommodation itself seems like a kind of old lodges which have each guest room and also some spaces to communicate and share the good time with other parties and people. And I could use wifi to collect information for Kamikochi which is one of famous sightseeing places in Japan, and here is close but reasonable price to stay, so I recommend this as one of bases to attack Kamikochi.
