From our room we had the most stunning view of Mt Fuji! Nothing in the way of the beautiful view. Not a building or tree, or anything. It was wonderful. Our room was wonderful too. A very large tatami room (12+ mat room???). We also had a private bath, and there is also 2 public baths (1 for women, the other for men) in the building which are large and spacious. I strongly suggest that you book this place WITH DINNER, because unfortunately the owners are unable to provide you with any meal unless you reserve in advance! And the nearest place for food is down the highway to 7-11...! 2-minute noodles and bakery goods... not the best kind meals to be having when you have such a great view just outside your window. The bus ride is pretty easy from the station, just ask the information desk for a local timetable, and ask you bus driver for IPPONGI when you hop on. They are usually nice enough to let you know it's your stop. I really liked this place it's just a little bit further than I had hoped. But would recommend it to anyone wanting a beautiful view of Mt. Fuji- particularly in the morning!!
