The setting of this amazing resort is fabulous, 400 hectares of wild bushland; it is in a remote corner of Italy only about 50-km from Ancona airport (first class little airport btw) and not that easy to find, but it is well worth the trouble. The apartments are comfortable and well furnished, the food, particularly the lunch and all the antipasto, is superb, the wine excellent and not expensive. However, it is the staff that make this place the little miracle it is. We were part of a wonderful wedding party and were thoroughly spoilt over the three nights we spent there. You definitely need a car to get about, not only to get there but, for example, once there the pool and bar are a long way from the restaurant. All of which is a good excuse for plenty of walking along the tracks, which are up hill and down dale. Full credit to owner Carolina and her mother and their staff for establishing such an unusual but beautiful resort. It is only open for a limited time in the summer months so it is worth planning well ahead.
