34 reviewsWe just returned from a 5-night stay at Relais Poggio del Sogno, with four adults and two children including my husband and myself, our two boys (5 and 7 years old), and my parents. We can't say enough good things about it. We enjoyed many meals on the covered terrace and were very comfortable in the spacious and nicely appointed villa which we rented out. The views are absolutely breathtaking from every perspective. Although it was a little cool, we couldn't resist the pool. The owner, Pia, is very responsive and the property caretaker, Giovanni, is very helpful. He took time to show us the property and checked in on us every day. We also enjoyed a traditional 4-course dinner cooked by Teresa. My mother said it was the best meal she's every had. It was absolutely delicious. The villa is about a 15 minute drive to Orvieto, and other small hilltowns (Castel Viscardo and Monterublialio). We also took easy day trips to Florence and Montepulciano, Pienza and Montalcino. We were very sad to leave and hope to be back someday.
