Garni Laura is now owned by the owners of the Hotel Pordoi next door. The staff were super-friendly and dealt with all our requests and queries promptly and helpfully. The rooms are comfortable (although ours was wayyyyyyy too hot), well equipped and clean. Breakfast was in the quaint breakfast room on site and was plentiful and hearty. Garni Laura is in a really convenient spot right in the centre of Arabba, a 2-minute walk from the Burz lift and with restaurants, ski hire shop, and other amenities all close by. There's a ski room with lockers in the basement, The wellness centre with its jacuzzi, Turkish steam room and sauna is a welcome respite after a fulfilling day's skiing! I'd highly recommend Garni Laura, we had a great week and we were particularly impressed with the welcoming, friendly, cheerful, accommodating staff. 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽

Friendly! Convenient! Clean! What more can you ask?

We booked two rooms for a week of winter sports. The hotel is very well located at the foot of the slopes. The rooms are clear, very clean and our two rooms had a spacious bathroom with a window, which detail I appreciate. The spa is well sized for the size of the hotel, you can have a good time there after a day of skiing. The breakfast in the form of a buffet is very copious, the quality products and the big plus, the boss offers you different egg cooking minutes to your liking! The boss and the desire are present at breakfast and make sure that it is a pleasant moment for the guests. We feel comfortable and will come back!

Very good establishment, well located at the foot of the tracks

We chose this place for a quiet holiday in mid-August. I'll tell you right away that the temperature in Arabba is fantastic for those who hate the heat and the heat. The rain is quite frequent but as it comes fast it goes fast too. The Garni is very easy to reach. It has a parking lot on the front and back of the hotel. The managers are hospitable and if you need information about what to visit or how to get to that place, ask them. Near the hotel there is still a very functional tourist office. The room was clean, the mattress was a little hard and the pillows (2, wide one more, almost productive) were not served. We didn't ask for an extra pillow food because at any time it was not the end of the world and I understand that the Arabic law, whoever offers fresh things in the night, is extremely comfortable, but we all have the opportunity to have a nice, quiet and comfortable living room, but we all have the opportunity to have a nice, clean and comfortable living room (but not all of our own).

Anonymous country but welcoming Garni

Found by chance looking for a last-minute place to stay in Arabba we found a room in this hotel, what to say, very clean rooms, we found courtesy and availability the lady who runs the hotel is not to say very nice we found each other very well

That's great.

We stayed here for 5 nights to do some cycling and walking in the mountains. Daniela is a wonderful host and was still smiling despite us arriving 2 hours later than scheduled. 
The room was small but perfectly adequate for a holiday where we intended to spend most of our time outside doing things. The bathroom is also small but everything about the room was immaculately clean and well looked after. We had a balcony with stunning views up towards Gardena.
 There is a spacious (but dimly lit) cellar where bikes can be assembled and kept locked safely when not in use. 
The breakfast was excellent with a good selection of things you can preorder. 
This property represents amazing value for money and next time I go cycling in the dolomites I'll definitely stay here again.

Brilliant place for a walking or cycling enthusiast

I have spent a number of weeks over the last 4 years staying at Garni Laura which offers bed and breakfast accommodation whilst enjoying the skiing in Arabba.  This Garni is small and run by the friendly and helpful owners.  The rooms are a good size, comfortable, clean and well appointed.  The bathrooms are very nice and there seems to be an endless supply of hot water for the spacious shower cubicles.  There is also a cosy small bar area.  The breakfasts are nice.  The position of the accommodation is the centre of Arabba and is very convenient for the pistes and the amenities.  There is a ski room,sauna and jacuzzi.  I can recommend this as a place to stay in Arabba.

Friendly and comfortable

We were guests of this beautiful Garni at the beginning of January. The rooms offer every comfort and maximum cleaning. The breakfast is excellent, abundant and varied. The managers are really friendly. Within walking distance there are restaurants, the supermarket, the ski service, pub,...

Family vacation in Arabba

When we came in the hotel, we immediatelly noticed that the lady hotel owner has some military training. Room was Ok on the first impression, but we noticed a lot of chlorine smell. After we open the windows, it was better, but chlorine smell persisted for a few days. We also noticed mold smell in the room, the most intensive was in bathroom.
Beds wasn't very comportable and we didn't sleep well.
When we go to welness, we noticed the same mold smell also in turkish sauna. They try to cover it with a aromatic oils, but they failed. Mold must be cleaned and prevented, not covered.
Breakfast was acceptable, only cakes was inedible.
We noticed also that room doors was unlocking randomly. We checked if the doors are locked when we get out, but when we came back the doors was unlocked. That happened many times. There was also an issue when somebody stollen money from my wallet. I asked the owner and written official complain, but they never answered. We complained also about mold, without any answer, excuse or anything.
They get money in advance and they had anything they need.
Please note that chlorine and mold was poisinous and that they are health hazard.
We won't be back, avoid that place. There are many healthier and better places with normal hotel security friendlines in Arraba.

Security and health problems

Great little place to stay. Rooms are a delight and whole place has feel of quality - albeit simple. Breakfasts are excellent with a simple cooked option being freshly prepared on request. Position is perfect. Well run and excellent value.

Friendly, Immaculate and value.

The hotel is located in walking distance to the skilifts. The owners are very friendly, the rooms are clean. Also the breakfast is excellent with fresh made eggs on request.
